I'm enjoying it so far too. The way you switch between narrative forms is good, you get to see everyone's POV that way.
Talia has to be One Lucky Kid - imagine being brought up by the Slayer and Wicca girl! And if and when the conspirators come after her they're going to get the surprise of their lives. Heh...
