Hi We are working on our servers due to an urgent hardware fault. We are aware of these and our senior programmers are looking into them at the moment. We hope to have the site fully functional again ASAP. In the mean time please bear with us and I thank you for your continued patience and support. However, we did receive notice from a visitor to your page that objectionable material was being displayed. It is our policy to delete any objectionable web sites from our servers without warning to the owner. This policy as well as any other policies can be found in our FAQ file. Because you are a valued site owner and we did award you a domain name and 100 MB of free space, we have reviewed your site and our team has deemed it as acceptable viewing material. Unfortunately, this 'concerned visitor' may have been someone who does not like the content or the more likely scenario would be that they have a personal grudge against you and saw fit to try and get your site removed. I say the second one is more likely because I have the e-mail in my possession and it reads to myself as well as the team as a 'personal grudge'. For legal reasons, we are unable to reveal the author to you. As I said, we took it under advisement, reviewed your site, and found no fault. I would suggest however, putting up copyright notices on you image pages. Many fan pages have been removed because the material is owned by another party. I apologise for the problems you are experiencing and we hope to have our servers functional ASAP. Regards

Can you believe the dude spelled APOLOGIZE wrong? Sheesh!!! I took out the guys name that wrote me the e-mail cuz I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate over 700 flames about shutting a site down. So I take the e-mail to mean that they had server problems AND someone wrote a damn letter trying to screw me. I thought I had a great 'relationship' with everyone on the lists - I guess this shows me that maybe not everyone can appreciate the finer points of my personality. Oh well....screw'em!!! I don't write for other people--I write simply because it brings me joy, and if you get joy out of it then, well, that's a bonus for you. I say the list because I belong to about 9 of them (one of which I'm a moderator for) and I only have about 2 or 3 real life friends that know about the archive and they are Kimber-friendly. *grin* You know, this is the first time I've ever seen Fortunecity be 'fair' about material on a website. Half a brownie point for them! Sooooo....I'm up and running again and everything seems to be 'normal'. Or, as normal as anything that has to do with me can get *grin*. Thanks for all the suggestions on webspace. If I get screwed again, I'm probably just gonna run with simplenet - it's not a bad little service from what a lot of you have told me. You guys really pulled through for me and what can I say *sniff sniff* I'm gettin all bleary eyed! Seriously, thanks bunches!!!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK |
