Matriarch here.
I can't speak for other authors of
course, but I figured that I may owe my sibs an explaination or three for my
current status as list tourist rather than active author.
Shit goes down, life gets in theway.
Yadda, yadda. . .that's all very true. BUT (you knew that was coming)I've
been disheartened by some feedback I recieved from my last posted chapter of the
neverending road series. As always, I'm overly sensative and take
everything to heart, so I re-evaluated my position and the future of the fic. .
.and still am. That's not to say that I've totally dropped it. . .yet. .
.that's to say that I need to do some serious thinking and maybe even
revising. My co-author, Alan, and I haven't been able to coordinate our
schedules as of late because we've both recently embarked on brand spankingnew
relationships (me with a cute lil redhead with green eyes ::swoon::) and
him with a beautiful brunette with great eyes and a killer smile.
*grin*
I dunno what it is, and I've gone through
this in the past with feedback, I guess I just care too much what people think
of it. I could get 1200 great responses and one not so great and I'll focuson
the latter rather than the first *shrug*.
Other than that, real life has kicked me
in the ass. I've been sick since June with trachial bronchitis....I have a lump
in my throat they thought was cancer (big scare, but it's not so it's all good)
and I have to schedule surgery to have it removed. which will put me outa
commission and unable to speak for at least 3 weeks after surgery. Also
I'm outa work and trying to register for classes for next semester and I'm
having problems with the ex (whom I was with for five years and we broke up2
weeks ago and haven't spoken since) and I'm trying to wrap around my head the
fact that even though a five year relationship went down the tubes, I have this
wonderful person in my life now that's liked me for the looooooooooongest time
ever ever (she's my best friends sister and I've known her since she was
6!!!)
So, that's what's been goin on in my
life. hehe...perhaps too much information but, hey, I felt like sharing andfor
the past 2 almost 3 years, you guys have been like family to me.
Bottom line is, I'll start writing again,
and since I have so much inspiration in my redheaded green-eyed adorable
lil chickie, it shouldn't be too hard.
There's just something about redheads
