Fic Challenge: "Once More with a Pylean"

Okay, I've been busy with a Spider-Man related story, so I apologize for not having any new B/W stuff lately.

Having said that, I did have an idea for a possible sixth-season B/W story(no matter what Dan says, if any season needed that B/W touch it was #6), but I don't have the time to write it. Plus it involves writing song lyrics(yes, it's set during THAT ep) and that's not my strong suit. So I thought I'd see if anyone wants to take the Challenge!

Here's the situation; After Buffy met with Angel off-camera around "Life Cereal" Angel realized that there was something wrong with Buffy. As he's busy with other cases, he asks for someone to go to Sunnydale to check up on Buffy. Lorne, our favorite empathic lounge-lizard demon, volunteers. As luck would have it, Lorne arrives just in time for the events of "Once More With Feeling".

Given that Lorne can look into the souls of people when they sing, he would be able to completely psychoanalyze the entire Scooby Gang in one shot, and he does so. Yeah, the musical spell caused everyone to belt out their inner souls to everyone else, but could Lorne see something more than what they were singing? How would Lorne perceive the motives, emotions and inner turmoils of the Scooby Gang? Would he see the underlying UST between Buffy and Willow, and perhaps intervene on their behalf? Would he see Willow's future and make her realize that she's on the wrong path? Would he prevent Tara's murder or Xander's leaving Anya at the altar? Would he stop Buffy from running to Spike before things got ugly? Would he start singing, and what would he have to say?

Sometimes it takes an outsider to see things in proper perspective. Could Lorne see things more clearly than the Scoobs because of his different world-view?

PS: How many of you are on the Hand of Chaos list, and would like to see my Spider-Man fic posted there? It's pretty much canon to Spider-Man 2(Peter/MJ all the way).
