| Yes, he's back!  Let the bells ring out and the banners fly! Got my email working again, so I thought I'd drop you a line.
And I come bearing tidings on the ever-popular ex-Scoobies.  It seems
that the core four are all gonna be busy for the next few months, as well as a
few others.  In no particular order: Sarah Michelle Gellar will be starring in "American McGee's Alice", based
on the creepy CD game.  An adult Alice(of Wonderland fame) has escaped from
an asylum following her parents' deaths and is seeking shelter in Wonderland,
only to find that evil forces have twisted the land into evil shapes.  Like
Wonderland was all that pleasant to begin with.  I like SMG, but she really
should cut down on the horror stuff.  Get a nice comedy-drama or
something.  Couldn't Nora Ephron set her up with something? Aly Hannigan is on the cast of "How I Met Your Mother" a CBS sitcom this
fall.  The premise; a bachelor decides to find the love of his life when
his best friend announces his engagement to a long-time girlfriend(Aly).
Romantic confusion ensues.  From what I've seen of the previews, her
character looks like a sanitized Michelle from American Pie. Nicholas Brendon will costar in "Kitchen Confidential" on FOX, a
comedy-drama about an ex-con who tries to go straight by running his own
restaurant.  Brendon will play one of the back-up chefs. Anthony Head, back in merrie ol' England, is slated to appear as a
recurring role in the newly revitalized Doctor Who.  No, he's not playing
the Doctor.  The Master, maybe? David Boreanaz will play an FBI agent in "Bones", a new crime drama a la
the CSI shows, co-starring Emily Deschanel, sister of Zoey, who was last seen in
the movie "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Amber Benson can be seen in "Race You To The Bottom", an indy romantic
drama. Michelle Tractenberg will co-star in "Four Women" a drama about four women
who are picked up by two mysterious men when their car is stuck in the
desert.  The thriller is based on the comic book by Sam Kieth. And last but debatably least, James Marsters will go back to playing a
villain on a WB show, this time on "Smallville", where he's slated to play
Dr. Milton Fine, aka perennial Superman villain Brainiac.  Note to WB: Keep
him evil this time! Discuss freely among yourselves. Peace out, Kirayoshi "I don't know about you, but Armageddon tired of the end of the
world." --Spider Robinson, "Callahan's Secret" "It's a good fight, Buffy, and I want in." "I kinda love you."
