LARTing is the rigourous application of a LART to a person.

A LART is also known as a Clue-By-Four. The word is an acronym
for Luser Attitude Readjustment Tool. LARTs come in many forms
the most common being the Hammer-LART, the Baseball-Bat-LART and
the
Large-Piece-Of-Stray-Timber-That-Just-Happened-To-Be-Lying-Around-LART.

Essentially a LART is anything that can be applied to the head of
that idiot luser who calls up technical support 30 times a day
for stupid problems in a percussive manner to result in the
imparting of knowledge (ie the knowledge that all calls to
technical support should start with "I'm really sorry to bother
your greatnesses but if you get a spare few minutes I'd be
grateful for your help with something. By the way here's a very
large case of beer and an extension to your equipment budget.")
and possibly concussion.
