Watch

I've watched you both for many years
I've seen you laugh
I've seen your tears
I know you better then you know yourselves
I see the love you both keep on the shelves.

You both have failed at love before
You both deserve so much more
Then any settled for love

I see you both as my kin.
I want to see you both win
In life in love its all the same
When you love it is no game
The price is high if you lose
But soon you will have to chose
Between friendship and love.

I hope I can stand aside
And let you or fate deside
I am a watcher by choice and trade
And by the decisions fate has made
So I will watch you with a father's eye
And be there when destiny desides
What love will bring for you.

Buffy and Willow you are meant to be
All that is needed is for you to see
The truth behind the choices you've made
The truth behind the the path that's laid
Before you.

I will watch.

I will allow a chance for fate
