Hey Femvamp, 
While I am sad that Joyce is dead because I did like her, it does give Joss 
an opportunity to really strut his stuff next week. I will say that frankly 
I had been rather surprised at the speed of Joyce's recovery from her brain 
tumor.

As for Kate, her leaving the police force could be only temporary (assuming 
she survives her suicide attempt).
