Whoa, whoa, whoa, back up.:-) First off, I can understand if you feel the 
need for a break, you've been putting a heck of a lot of great fiction out 
there, a lot of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. But please don't allow me 
to be the reason you take a break. Quite frankly, I know a lot of people 
who would kill me, and then they wouldn't get anymore Stranger.LOL

Second, all of us have our own writing styles. I don't write like Kimber, 
she doesn't write like Kirayoshi, we're all differen't and we all see the 
characters from the same, yet differen't points of view. Some of us 
compliment each other fairly well in our writing styles, which is why some 
of us can work really well together, hey 'yoshi.:-) But you should never 
let comparison be the reason why you stop writing. If I compared myself to 
Merwolf, for instance, (this really fantastic Xena writer) I would have 
stopped long ago, and did for a couple of years, until I started writing 
Buffy, because there is no way I could ever compare to her...she's just too 
good. But she again, has her own writing style...truly beautiful. And I'm 
starting to get a feel for writing Xena again.

So, take it from someone who compared herself to someone and found herself 
falling way short...you don't need to be me...just be yourself...I speak for 
all of us here when I say we really enjoy your work and would be missing out 
if you decided not to write anymore.

As for Buffy and Willow, I think they'd miss you too.:-)
