The Gift

Ok, I was watching FX today and they had the Gift on. Honestly, I
love that episode....The first time I saw it, I broke down in tears,
not only because Buffy died, but i had recently lost a loved one. I
kind of have a gift for all of you. We buggered few are the
supporters of an extremely blessed love that not many see. We have
taken off the blinders and noticed that there was more to Buffy and
Willow's relationship. Luckily, I got to contrast Welcome to the
Hellmouth and The Gift, for WTTH was on after the Gift. Buffy's fear
that Willow is going to die is extremely moving, and it shows that
from the start something clicked within the two of them that is more
powerful than the writers could ever write on. It also helps when
the two actresses have great on screen chemistry.

This season we all have been wronged by Joss and ME. I say damn the
to eternal hell for making a mockery out of a great show. Season
Five was a great season, with a few crappy shows in between. It was
filled with angst and remorse and pain. This season six just sucked
ass...the writing was terrible and there were a few good episodes
amongst a lot of shitty ones.

So my gift to all of you Buffy/Willow shippers is just merely a piece
of advice: Just follow your hearts.

and keep on writing.

Hunter Ash, you rule, and I hope you don't keep Spuffy together for
too long!
