Faith. Skank. Need I say more?

Okay, okay... (but I always knew she was a mouth-breather)

Well, after this year, the last thing I needed to read was Buffy getting
raped by another leather-clad "friend", but you made the story as
disturbing as it should be without making it unreadable. Faith, marking
her "territory" like the animal she should be better than, at least has
the honesty to admit that what she's doing has nothing to do with love.
Strong contrast to B/W, who give each other the space they need, even if
it's hurting them, and yet manage to be there for each other, no matter
what has gone before.  

Without overstating matters, it's fics like this that make me glad I'm a
B/W 'shipper. Their love is so beautiful and so strong precisely because
they are best friends; no one else could know them well enough to be
there like that when each of them needs the other. I particularly
liked the final image of the two of them sleeping, the nightmares
"lessened only because of the arms that encircled them." No matter how
awful things get in this story, I have [pardon the word] faith that
they'll be able to help each other through it.

Now comes the question of how to tell Giles,who, as Watcher to both
Slayers, absolutely needs to be told--and yet if I were either Buffy or
Willow, I couldn't see telling him in a hundred years. Interesting.
