Scully was walking out to the rental car when she started making a 
mental list in her mind of what they would need and then she started 
thinking about where she could them at.After climbing into the car 
she decided to head for a Walmart she,Mulder,and Krychek had gone 
past on their way to the rundown mansion from the police station.
Scully was about two miles from the shopping center that the walmart 
store was in when the low on gas light on the dashboard lit up and 
then a computerized voice said low on gas please refuel soon.Scully 
pulled into the right hand lane after seeing a sign for an exxon gas 
station up ahead on the right.When Scully was pulling into the gas 
station parking lot she noticed that there was a Uhaul rental center 
right next door to the gas station.Scully stopped the car at the gas 
pump and got out after turning off the engine.Scully looked at the 
pump and she pressed the pay inside button.A second later Scully slid 
the nozzle into the gas tank opening and she started fueling up the 
car.Four minutes later Scully put the nozzle back into its place at 
the pump and then headed for the entrance.Scully used her corporate 
visa credit card that the FBI had given her to pay for the gas and 
she made sure to get a receipt which she would turn into Aod Skinner 
along with the trip tickets and other receipts she and Mulder would 
get while on the case.As she walked out of the gas station Scully 
looked over at the Uhaul rental center and saw a small mini mover 
parked on the grass inbetween the gas station and the Uhaul rental 
center.Scully said i will need to get one of those to haul the 
generator around.
Scully drove out of the gas station's parking lot and into the 
parking lot of the Uhaul rental center.Scully parked the rental car 
in an empty parking space in front of the rental center and then she 
got out of the car.When Scully walked into the rental center a small 
bell on the door rang gently and a female voice said please hold on 
I'll be with you in a minute.Scully looked around while waiting for 
the woman to appear and she saw a board on a wall that listed all the 
items the rental center rented and after that were the prices for 
them per hour,day,and week according for how long you wanted to rent 
them.Scully grinned when she saw generators on the list because she 
didnt want to have to try to explain to Aod Skinner why she and 
Mulder had bought a generator nor did she think she would be able to 
get reimbursed for it if she paid for it out of her own pocket.
A moment later a woman walked into the room and she said I'm sorry i 
kept you waiting i was just finishing off a late lunch.Scully said 
thats alright i know all too well that people have to eat when they 
get hungry.Scully said i want to rent one of your mini movers and a 
generator.The saleswoman started to get some rental forms out of a 
drawer when she remebered something and then she stopped and looked 
up at Scully.The saleswoman said i can rent you a mini mover but i am 
afraid all of our generators are rented out and none of them are due 
back before Tuesday morning.Scully said are you sure you dont have 
any generators for rent.The saleswoman said I'm positive we dont you 
see the WWE rented all of our generators for their show at the 
auditorium for tommorrow night.Scully said whats the WWE and why 
would they need to rent several generators to do a show at an 
auditorium.The saleswoman said the WWE stands for World Wrestling 
Entertainment which is owned by Vincent Kennedy McMahon and the 
reason they need the generators is because the auditorium is not 
electrically capable of even providing 1/4 of the power they need to 
run all the electronic and other stuff they need for the show.Scully 
looked at the saleswoman and said how do you know that and the 
saleswoman said i overheard one of their technical people talking to 
someone on a cellular phone when they came to rent the 
generators.Scully said is there another Uhaul rental center here in 
town.The saleswoman said no there isnt but there is a Ryder rental 
center although you wont be able to get a generator there either 
because the WWE rented all of their generators the same day they 
rented ours.Scully said oh well i guess i will just have to find a 
hardware store nearby hopefully they will have a generator even if i 
have to buy one.
After the rental forms were filled out,a copy of her drivers license 
was made,and Scully paid a down payment on the mini mover she walked 
out of the rental center accompanied by a young man.The young man 
said Ma'am please back your car up to the mini mover and I'll hook it 
up for you.Scully said ok but signal me on what to do when i get 
close to it.Four minutes later the mini mover was being attached to 
the car and the young man said I'm almost finished Ma'am.Scully said 
good now all i need to do is find someplace that has a good generator 
for sale at a low price and then go to walmart.The young man looked 
up at Scully while turning a crank and he said Ma'am did i hear you 
say your looking for a generator thats for sale at a low price.Scully 
looked at him and she said yes you did and i already know that all 
the generators you had here are rented out.The young man said thats 
true we dont have any generators for rent but i do know of where you 
can find one hell of a deal on a generator for only $550.00.Scully 
said i can buy a brand new one at a hardware store for cheaper than 
that.The man said sure you can buy a generator thats cheaper than 
that but you wont find one that can put out 1/2 the watts the 
generator I'm talking about can.Scully said before you say anymore 
let me inform you that I'm an FBI agent and if its stolen you will 
get in just as much trouble as the one who stole it or is in 
possession of it.The man said its not stolen a friend of mine Dana 
Schnieder bought the generator at a state auction where the state 
sells items that were convisgated or seized for various reasons.
Scully said where can i find your friend i will want to see the 
generator and the paperwork the state would have given her when she 
bought the generator.The man said Dana works at Big Lots which is 
three doors down from Walmart and the generator is in the backroom.
The man said by the way Dana is a guy.Scully got red in the face and 
she said I'm sorry about jumping to the conclusion that your friend 
was female because of his name.The man said thats alright he used to 
be called a girl when he was in elementary and middle school because 
of his name.Scully said the reason i thought he was a girl because my 
name is Dana.The man said I'll call Dana as soon as i get back inside 
and he should be waiting for you by the front door when you walk 
inside.
Fifteen minutes later Scully walked into Big lots and she saw a big 
muscular guy standing next to a display case who had a big Lots smock 
on.Scully walked up to him and she said are you Dana.Dana turned and 
looked at Scully and he said are you the young lady who is interested 
in buying my generator.Scully said before i decide to buy it or not i 
want to look at it and the paperwork that you got from the state when 
you purchased it.Dana said follow me the paperwork is in the back 
room with the generator.Scully followed Dana into the back room and 
he led her over to a box that the generator was in.Dana said the 
generator is in the box which hasnt been opened since it left the 
auction and then he handed her the papers he had been given from the 
state when he bought it.Scully looked over the paperwork carefully 
until she was sure it was legitimate.Scully said I'll take the 
generator but i have one question before i pay you the $550.00.Dana 
said go ahead and ask the question but i must tell you the price went 
up to $800.00 a couple days ago.Scully said but your friend said it 
was for sale at $550.OO.Dana said my friend was mistaken you see my 
bills have been building up since i bought it and i need to make a 
profit from it so I'll come out at least a bit ahead.Scully said I'm 
not sure the generator is worth $800.00.Dana said this isnt just a 
regular generator its an Industrial grade 2 generator and according 
to the book a used one is worth $6000.00.Scully said if thats true 
why are you willing to sell it for such a low amount.Dana said 
because there isnt anyone or any bussiness in this town that will pay 
$6000.00 for it and i want to sell it quickly so i can pay off my 
bills and get out of the red.Scully thought a moment and she said ok 
I'll pay you $800.00 for it and your lucky that i happen to have just 
that amount in cash.Dana said i dont want cash i want a money order 
or certified check because there is a lot of counterfeit money 
floating around these days.Scully said my money isnt counterfeit and 
I am an FBI agent so i would be the last one to pass around 
counterfeit money.Dana said may i see your badge and Scully said sure 
and she pulled out her badge and showed it and her FBI id card to 
him.Dana said ok I'll take your money after all if you cant trust an 
FBI agent who can you trust.
