I'm all for Willow going to Buffy for her
punishment when she needs it, it probably is doing her some good. My argument is
that in this particular case, Buffy is encouraging Willow to go find someone to
hurt her, knowing Buffy will stop her, punish her harder, and have better
sex.
(Sigh) Sorry for the rant (Psychology student by
the way). I actually think the fic is great, just that Buffy is encouraging her
in this case to do the very thing that she doesn't want to happen. See Triune by
The Bear, for a better example of how it could have been handled. It's a very
different case, of where Buffy is the one who has transgressed, but the
punishment fitted the crime much better, even though essentially the same as
earlier occasions, the impact of it was far different.
