Welcome!  (Or, if I missed a previous fic, oops!)  This was definitely
good, basic fun.  Loved how Buffy decided to act instead of angst, and
how quickly she picked up on Willow's signals.  And the line "&I asked
you over because I had planned on seducing you." makes me frankly giddy.

&I should actually point out that in fact Xander is quite aware of
Willow's interest.  Hyena!Xander taunts Buffy about it in "The Pack",
and Buffy and Xander discuss it in "I Robot, You Jane".  He just doesn't
return it&yet.

Actually, Buffy is the denser of the two, since she somehow misses
Xander drooling all over her in Season 1 and is completely surprised
when he asks her out in "Prophecy Girl".  (Apparently, she convinced
herself that it was the hyena who wanted her in "The Pack", not "one of
the girls" Xander.)

But I'm not particularly upset that Buffy is missing a guy's
signalsshe's got Willowier things to concentrate on :)

Red, she does, in "Inca Mummy Girl":

BUFFY:  Oh, come on.  In all the years you've known Willow, you've never
thought about her lips?

As Angelina once pointed out, this sounds a **lot** like Faith not being
able to believe Buffy never slept with Xander (graveyard conversation in
"Bad Girls").  And we know that Faith thought Buffy had because *she*
had&so it follows that the reason Buffy can't believe Xander doesn't
spend hours dreaming about Willow-lips is because Buffy knows from
firsthand experience what Willow-lusting is all about :D
