Now, now, Ivy.  We're short enough authors as it is.  And given that
your beta is just as insistent on eradicating the "Wills" menace <g> as
our most determined posters on the issue, nothing you need worry about,
I'd say.

And it's not that authors get hounded over a simple typo, or anything.
Persistent bits of "fanon" can irritate because they are so **damn**
widespread with not a single thing on-show to back them up.  It's not
one author's use of "Wills" that grates, it's the one-hundredth
author's.

(Same goes for authors calling Buffy "Elizabeth", before the tombstone
in "The Gift" lessened that occurence.  Or Angel crying blood tears, or
whatever.)

But it's not as bad as certain characterizations that can really kill a
fic for me.  (Which I won't go into here, as OT.)  I can grit my teeth
and get past the name stuff.  I just prefer not to have to do so.
(Sensitive teeth, y'know.)

So don't mind us and keep 'em coming, okay?
