At the risk of finding myself slammed to the wall in the same peremptory manner, I am going to say that I agree with ebailey's summarization of how season 7 was played. They DID act like high school friends who had grown apart and no longer had anything much in common.

Please note that ebailey never said that was how s/he WANTED it. Just that that's how it was. Just because you SEE that a thing is played a certain way on the show doesn't mean you are against/dislike the idea of B/W. It just means you have, y'know, eyes.
