I dunno how well ubers would work. For
me, the whole idea of them centers around Sunnydale and Slaying and everything
and if you take that away, you have a shallow cheerleader, a couple of losers
and an old British guy that all together have nothing to draw them
together. That's one reason I don't read these AU 'Everyone's Human'
fics. But that's just me.
And it's not just femslash - I've seen the
same complaint on the Giles-centric lists, that interest is dropping off.
And two years after the show's demise, why wouldn't it? It stands to
reason that casual fans would fall away and only the Hardcore Nutballs would be
left behind. Look at Xena fandom.

It seems like everday another buffy/angel archive has closed, sonja marie, or the archives havnt been updated in months or longer. Has the interst in writing buffy fan fiction ended along w/the shows? Or is it just interest in buffy femslash? I would like to see a buffy archive created that is similar to many xena archives in that the writing of the fan fic is based on the spirit of our fav characters not on the show itself. Taking the characters out of sunnydale and placing them anywhere, making them lawyers, dr's, archeologist, rich, poor etc. It was the characters on the show that kept me watching even thru s/6 & 7.
