*bowing* Thanks for the suggestions. I have honestly never paid attention to most of the Buffyverse metaphors. I rarely use Giles in a magical capacity because he never seemed comfortable in the role, and this was a good way to get Willow away from her reliance on Tara. Still, you are right. I am going to need a way to cause the final split between the two witches. I'll have to give this more thought as I start prepping for the next chapter.
