******************************************************************************************

Passion... it lies in all of us. Sleeping, waiting, and though unwanted, unbidden, it will stir, open its jaws... and howl.
It speaks to us, guides us... Passion rules us all. And we obey. What other choice do we have?
Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstasy of grief.
It hurts sometimes more than we can bare. If we could live without Passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace. But we would be hallow. Empty rooms, shuddered and dank. Without Passion, we'd be truly dead.
-Angelus "Passion"

I wasn't ready, but I think I finally am. I can't hold on to the past anymore. Angel is gone. Nothing is going to bring him back.
-Buffy "Passion"

"Hey, Will. How goes the teachering?" Buffy greeted, walking into the computer class Willow was dismissing.
"Hey, Buff. It's good." Willow answered, turning around to face Buffy.
"Wanna have a sleep over tonight? I gotta surprise for you." Buffy asked, leading the way to the hallway.

"A surprise? For me? Sure!" Willow squeaked. Buffy smiled at Willow's happiness.
"First I have to check up on Giles." Buffy said, directing them towards the library. Willow nodded, following Buffy.

"Hey, Giles!" Buffy said, enthusiastically. Willow just waved.
"Uh, Buffy. May I have a word with you?" Giles asked, standing up from his desk and walking into his office. Buffy and Willow exchanged glances before Buffy shrugged and followed Giles.

Once Buffy closed the door, Giles started talking.
"I wanted to thank you for helping me yesterday. I wouldn't have made it if it weren't for you." Giles said, trying to get through his little speech. Buffy smiled.
"No problem. You're like a dad to me." Buffy said, walking over the give Giles a hug.

Once Buffy let go, she walked out to meet Willow. Together they left Sunnydale High for Willow's to pick up clothes. Once they left Willow's, they were onto Buffy's house.

"Please?" Willow begged yet again.
"No." Buffy said smiling.
"Please?" Willow begged, putting on her pout-y face. 'That face is so adorable.' Buffy thought. 'Wait! Did I just say adorable? I meant cute. No! I mean, Willow's gorgeous!' Buffy shook her head to get rid of these thoughts.

"No! You're going to have to wait 'til we get to my house." Buffy explained.
"Oh, okay." Willow finally gave up. Willow looked over to see Buffy smiling. 'She's so beautiful when she smiles. I just wish she would do it more often. I love Buffy. I just wish I could tell her.' Willow thought.

Willow was so deep in thought, she walked right passed Buffy's house. Buffy started poking her. Willow looked up.
"Uh, Will. We just passed my house." Buffy said, trying to keep in her laughter but failing. Willow started laughing too, turning around and walking back.

Once they were inside, Willow started begging again.
"Now can you show me?" Willow asked again, putting back on her pout-y face.
"Fine. In my room next to my bed, there's a box. It's in there." Buffy said. Before Buffy got to finish her sentence, Willow was running up the stairs. Buffy smiled and walking over to the couch and sat down.

Buffy started thinking. 'What's going on with me? I just thought Willow was gorgeous! I mean she is, but she's a she, not a he! I mean, I really love Willow and all- Oh, my god! I love Willow! Holy crap!' All of a sudden Buffy heard a shriek and she knew Willow found her gift.

"Buffy, he's amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Where'd you get him?" Willow asked, coming down the stairs with a little puppy in her hands.
"On patrol last night, I found this little guy in the cemetery. He had no tags and I thought you'd like it." Buffy explained, blushing after she said that and turned her head to look down at the floor.

Willow joined Buffy on the couch and laid her head on Buffy's shoulder.
"I love it, just as much as I love you." Willow said, regretting she said the last of her words. Buffy smiled.
"I love you, too, Will." Buffy said back.
