Part eleven

Buffy and Willow walked in silence back to the mansion. Willow didn't really want to be around everyone right now.

Buffy led them through the house and up to her room, closing the door and going over to light the fire to give the room some warmth.

"You have a nice room."
Buffy turned to see Willow sitting on the bed, her back against the wall it rested on.

"You think?" Buffy moved over and sat beside her, taking off her coat and boots and drawing her feet up under herself.

"Yeah, I mean, you got the big drapes on the windows, the space to move around, the fireplace and the big bed."

Buffy raised her eyes to meet Willow, not really sure where this conversation was going.

Her confusion must have been clear, because Willow moved.

She sat up on her knees so that she was facing Buffy before leaning in and kissing her.

She lifted her hands to cup Willow's face and traced her bottom lip with her tongue before taking it between her own lips and sucking.

Willow moved one hand to the nape of Buffy's neck and tightened her grip, pulling the unresisting vampire closer to her.

Willow had never been affected so much by a kiss, not even one of Buffy's, she forgot where she was, all she could feel was Buffy. Buffy's lips, Buffy's tongue. She wasn't in control, but then again, it looked like Buffy wasn't faring to well on that score either.

Willow whimpered and Buffy drew back. Looking into each others eyes they could see the same things reflected: desire, need, passion and love.

Buffy dove back in for another taste, and another before backing off to let Willow breath, trailing her lips along Willow's jaw line and down to her neck.

Buffy ran her tongue the length of the creamy flesh before her, before gently nipping with her teeth, causing Willow's body to shudder and arch into Buffy's.

That broke whatever spell Buffy was under and she jumped off the bed, putting space between them.

"I... we... god..." It seemed words failed the Vampire.

Willow was fearing no better, she opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

Buffy pulled back the drapes to let the cool air wash over her, even though she couldn't sweat, or actually have body heat, she felt like she was on fire.

Willow stared at her girlfriends back, wondering why she stopped.

"Buffy?" Willow had found her voice at last, though it came up husky.

Buffy shuddered at the sound.

"Yeah?" Buffy closed her eyes. Seems that her own voice wasn't what it usually was.

Willow stood up and walked over to Buffy, raising her hand and resting it against her girlfriends back.

When Buffy flinched, Willow withdrew her hand sharply.

Buffy noticed and spun around.

Willow was backing away with a look of horror on her face.

Buffy tried to follow, but Willow held up a hand, stopping her.

Buffy knew that she needed to nip whatever was wrong in the bud.

Reaching her girlfriend, she enveloped her in a hug and walked them over to the bed.

"Baby? What's wrong?"

Willow buried her head in Buffy's neck.

"You don't want me."

Buffy pushed Willow back so she could see her face.

"What? Where the hell did you get that idea?"

Willow blushed and buried her head again.

"Well, before, with the jumping off the bed, I kind of... wait you do want me?"

Buffy smirked before kissing Willow again, keeping it light.

"I want you so much it scares me."

"Really?" Willow moved up to start another kiss, but Buffy moved back after a few seconds.

"Willow, I want you, believe me, but you told me, not that long ago, that you weren't ready to go the whole way."

Willow kept silent, thinking about what Buffy was saying.

Buffy just sat there holding her, stoking her hand along Willow's back.

"We'll, I'm not really, but there is other stuff we can do. Isn't there?" Willow voice went from being confident to nervous, like she had gotten something wrong.

Buffy pulled back so she could see Willow's face.

"Tonight, when we were kissing, it was just you and me. I wasn't thinking about anything, or anyone else. There was no other reasons involved other than me wanting..." Willow broke off, but they both knew what she was going to say.

Buffy never hesitated. She moved in and claimed Willow's lips.

Lowering Willow to the bed, Buffy stretched out on top of her, keeping most of her weight off the redhead.

Lifting her head, Buffy met Willow's eyes and Willow could see the struggle her girlfriend was going through.

Buffy's eyes were flashing between hazel and gold, before she lowered her head and trailed her mouth along Willow's neck and down to her collarbone.

Willow was whimpering and squirming in no time.

Buffy slipped a leg in-between both of Willow's, and Willow let out a loud moan to show her approval.

Buffy brought her hand up and palmed Willow's breast through her clothing, wishing it was skin she was feeling.

She had never really understood the need to possess another person, to make them hers, until now. Even without a soul, she had never felt that need. She wanted to make Willow hers, mark the girl in ways that left no doubt that she belonged to her. But she knew it was too soon for that.

Their make out session ended abruptly when Buffy's hearing picked up raised voices out in the main room.

Hoisting herself up on her arms, she looked down into Willow's lust filled eyes and was tempted to just go back to what she had been doing when she recognised the voices, not to mention the vibes she got of family.

"Damn!"

Buffy rolled over and got to her feet, Willow followed her, though she moved slower than the Vampire had.

"What's going on?"

Buffy put her shoes back on and took Willow's hand.

"Seems my Sire and that piece of shit from earlier are here."

Willow's eyebrows raised slightly at Buffy's language.

Buffy noticed.

"What? I just really hate him."

Willow never said anything and together they walked out to greet the newcomers, both wishing that they were still in the bedroom, engaging in much more pleasant activities.

"What's going on?"

Spike and Angel both whipped around to face Buffy and Willow. Angel looked sheepish, Spike looked cocky. Buffy glared at Spike.

Willow looked at each Vampire before throwing her hands in the air and going into the kitchen to get a soda.

Buffy tracked Willow until she was out of the room before turning her gaze back on her Sire and Spike.

"Well well well, what did we interrupt then?" Spike clucked his tongue, a smirk on his face.

Buffy didn't have to hit Spike, as Angel did it for her, but she did anyway.

"Spike, sit."

Buffy smirked as Spike could only obey the command.

"Giles wants everyone in the library tomorrow at sundown."

Buffy nodded her head and Angel and turned when she heard the patter of Willow's feet.

"Giles wants us all to go the library at sundown tomorrow night." Willow nodded that she had heard Buffy and moved to sit on the couch, until she realised that Spike was already there.

Turning she sat on the hearth of the fire.

Angel looked from one childe to the other, sighing as he did so.

"Look, I know that you two don't get along, but of the sake of everything that is going to happen, deal with it."

Buffy moved to sit by Willow while Spike just glared at his Sire.

Willow was curled up, fast asleep in Buffy's bed. Buffy was sitting by the fire, watching her sleep.

She couldn't believe how lucky she was, to have this amazing girl with her.

/why are we all the way over here?/

'I'm trying to put things into perspective'

Buffy's demon gave a snort.

/what do you need perspective on? Which blood to let me have: cow or pig?/

'Willow can't just walk away from her family for me'

/the prick will come 'round./

'what if he doesn't? I couldn't make her chose between her family and me'

/she already made her choice/

'not really. I'm sure if she went back, her dad would want her there, emotions were running high tonight. He would want her back'

/only if we weren't there with her/

'that's what I need perspective on'

Buffy's demon never said anything for a while, and just as she thought it had lost interest, it spoke up again.

/don't you go and do something we will both regret/

Buffy never answered her demon. She knew that if it came down to a choice, she couldn't force Willow to choose.

/you should be concentrating on the apocalypse anyway and how we are getting her through it/

'thought you didn't mind the world ending'

/that was before/

Buffy never asked "before what" because she already knew the answer.

It was laying on her bed, not five foot from her.
