Buffy Love

[Joss' people, just playing here.]

Willow walked through the park, the great poopy head by her side; he was some piece of work, she had to admit. They had started back at the grotto, talking about Buffy and how he had just used her. Now, the blue eyed Casanova was actually hitting on her: her, best friend who had come to him in a seething rage. And he was trying to get her back to his room. Poopy head seemed so the understatement at the moment.
"I mean, look at us," he purred, snaking an arm around her. "We can talk...I mean, really talk, and that's not an easy to come by these days. The world is a cold place..."
She felt a stomach pain as he actually touched her, the urge to throw up getting stronger. She loved Buffy to death, but how in the world had her best friend fallen for this jerk and his pile of horse hooey? Angel...she was reeling from his departure. Willow had heard her, once or twice, late at night, crying and it broke her heart.
"So when two people, like us, make a connection, well..."
The jerk's voice trailed off and he stopped walking, turning his blue eyes to her greens. A neon sign would have been subtler.
"Look, id boy, I don't know how many poor, helpless victims this has worked on in the past...way too many, I'm guessing...but this gal, she ain't buying it!" She shook his arm off of her. "You are a disease, Parker Abrams, inflicting innocents of my gender. You got my best friend, but I'll be darned if you're getting me!" She shoved him as hard as she could. "You need to grow up and start treating women like human beings and not Parker's playthings, because trust me, one of these days, it's going to come back to you!"
He smiled at her and she swore it was the most evil thing she'd ever seen...and that was so saying a lot! She backed up, her instincts telling her to get away from him and fast.
"Hmm, you are feisty! I really like that...a nice change from Buffy. She came so willingly, so easy...nice but no challenge. I like a challenge." He licked his lips as he moved toward her. "You, Willow, are a challenge."
She turned to run and he caught her, grabbing her by the arms and slamming her into the closest tree. She opened her mouth to scream, to chant something that would send him flying across the park, anything, but he cut her off with a fist.
"You are going to be so much more fun than Buffy," he grinned, tearing her blouse off.

The object in front of her fascinated Buffy, in her cave slayer state. It was made of wood, with iron bars on the ends and seemed to be a place to sit. Crouching down, she examined it closer, her fingers moving lightly over the wood and iron. Suddenly, she looked up, sniffing the air deeply. She knew that scent. She stood, her eyes still fixed on the direction of the smell. It was the most familiar of scent, pleasant and comforting...usually. At the moment, however, it was full of fear and pain.
"Willow hurt." The two words sent her off and running, a growl in her throat.

"Stop! No! No!"
Willow's cries of protest were met with another hard slap to her already bruised face, cracking her lip even more and sending a fresh trickle of blood into her mouth.
"Oh yeah, much more fun than Buffy!" he exclaimed, reaching under her skirt. "Ah yeah, this is sweet!" His fingers dove under her panties and he pinched, hard. "I am so going to enjoy mak-"
His sentence was cut off and Willow watched as he was lifted in the air and thrown a good ten feet.
"Parker BAD!" Buffy growled, on him before he could recover. "Parker hurt my Willow!" She picked him up by the throat and threw him again.
Willow managed to sit up just in time to see her friend punch him in the mouth.
"Buffy, no!"
True, the almost rapist deserved to be thrashed within an inch of his life. However, she didn't want her very best friend in the world doing life for it. Buffy looked at her.
"Willow hurt...Parker BAD!"
Before the redhead could get another word out, the Slayer had him by the throat and was banging him against a tree.
"Buffy, stop! Stop!"
"Buffy!" A new voice and a new smell; this one, also familiar. The Slayer turned to see Xander standing a few feet away. "I know the guy's a jerk, Buf, but so not worth going to jail over."
"Parker hurt Willow!"
Xander furrowed a brow and she repeated herself.
"Parker hurt Willow!"
"I'm ok, Buffy," Willow weakly said, her body aching, her head spinning.
Xander heard his friend and looked around. He saw her on the ground, clothing torn, face bloody and bruised. His anger shot through the roof and he ran to her.
"Willow, oh god...what did he do to you?"
He was beside her, his dark eyes taking in her abused state.
"I'm ok, Xander, please, stop her. She's going to kill him."
Parker mumbled about his back hurting and Buffy growled, slamming him against the tree again.
"Please, Xander!"
He looked into Willow's eyes, then stood up and walked over to Buffy.
"Let him go, Buffy," he said, his voice gentle.
"Parker hurt my Willow!"
"I know, I know he did...and he's going to pay for it, believe me. But not this way...this way, you get in trouble and we don't want that." He paused, looked at Willow and added," Willow needs you, Buffy. You have to take care of her, help her. I'll handle this bastard. You go help Will."
Buffy looked at the redhead, then turned to Xander. He nodded and she let go of Parker. He fell to the ground, moaning. Buffy hurried over to Willow, kneeling down to check on her friend.
"Willow hurt," she said, carefully touching the witch's face. "Bleeding."
"I'm ok, Buffy, really."
She glanced down at her torn blouse and started to cry.
"Here." Xander tossed Buffy his jacket. "Take her home. I'll call Giles and he can get her to the hospital."
"No, no hospital," Willow said.
"Will, you're hurt."
"Xander, please, I'll be ok. I just want to go home and shower, ok? I'm ok...he didn't...Buffy, she stopped him." She looked at her oldest friend, her teary eyes pleading. "Please, I just want to go home."
Against his better judgement, Xander nodded. "Ok, but I'm calling Giles and having him come over. I want him to check you out." He paused, his voice taking on softness. "You got some nasty looking bruises there, Will."
She nodded and wished she hadn't. Her head was killing her.
"Buffy take care of Willow." She eased the jacket onto the redhead and helped her up. "Buffy carry."
Willow didn't argue as the Slayer gently scooped her up in her strong arms and started toward their room.
Xander turned his attention to the moaning lump at his feet. Reaching down, he pulled him up.
"She was trying to kill me," he said, and Xander noticed the missing front teeth. "She's crazy!"
Xander wanted to knock out the rest so bad it made his head hurt. Instead, he put an arm around him and walked him away.

Buffy watched as Willow removed what was left of her clothes, her hazel eyes growing dark and stormy as they took in the bruises that covered the witch's beautiful, pale skin. Her arms were covered in them. Willow eased her skirt down, wincing as she did and Buffy growled at the large, hand sized black and blue marks that covered her thighs. Willow looked up at the blonde.
"It's ok, Buffy, I'm ok."
She bent down to pick up the skirt from the floor and nearly fell over. Buffy was by her side in a heartbeat, catching her and sitting her on the bed.
"Thanks," Willow whispered, her voice marred by the threat of tears.
Buffy reached out and carefully brushed her bangs out of her eyes.
"My Willow," she said, causing the redhead to look her in the eye. "Buffy love Willow."
"Willow loves Buffy,' she replied, meaning it in a way the Slayer would never understand...or would she?
Their eyes locked and Willow looked deep. Was it possible that her friend meant that she really loved her...in a more than just a best friend kinda way?
Buffy traced a finger lightly over Willow's bruised face.
"Willow hurt...Buffy mad."
The Slayer's finger brushed against her lip and she winced.
"Buffy kiss and make better."
And before she knew it, the blonde's soft lips were gently touching hers. Willow had never felt anything as wonderful and as right in her entire life. Without even realizing it, she reached out and put her arms around Buffy, hugging her, pulling her closer. The Slayer's mouth became a bit less gentle, her tongue wanting Willow's, hungry for the taste of the witch. Willow gladly gave it, her own mouth desperate for more of the Slayer.
They savored each other for a moment, then broke apart. Willow's eyes opened and she saw the blonde smiling at her.
"Buffy smart...Buffy know what she love...Buffy love Willow...Buffy want Willow."
Willow felt a tear slip down her cheek.
"Cave Buffy does. I'm not sure about regular, everyday Buffy."
Buffy brushed her fingers through red hair.
"She wants you too, Will."
Willow's eyes grew wide. "Buffy?"
"I wanted to kill him, for hurting you. When I saw him, on top of you...it was like a light through the fog...everything got clear and all I wanted to do, was kill him."
Willow felt the tears fall.
"I was so afraid. I tried to do a spell to get him off of me, but he kept hitting me...I just wanted him to stop...I wanted him..." Her voice gave way to sobs and Buffy held her tight.
"It's ok, Will, it's over...and he will never ever hurt you again, I promise."
Buffy held her, whispering words of comfort and after a few minutes, Willow calmed down.
"I'm sorry," she softly said, carefully drying her eyes.
"No, I'm sorry. I should have told you how I felt...I know you've heard me crying at night, and you think it's because of Angel...but it's not. It's you, Will, it always has been." She looked the redhead straight in the eye. "Angel knew. He told me I should tell you how I felt, but I was afraid...of losing you. When I was in the park and I smelled your fear, the pain..." She looked away. "I knew someone was hurting you and it made me crazy." She turned back to Willow. "It made me crazy that someone was touching you. Gosh, Will, the thought of anyone hurting you makes me crazy but the thought of anyone touching you...of Oz..." She trailed off, looking away again.
Willow digested what she was hearing. She has always loved Buffy, for more than just a best friend, but had figured the Slayer would laugh at her or be repulsed by her and now, she was finding out the woman she was madly in love with felt the same about her. A part of her almost wanted to thank Parker Abrahms...almost.
Willow reached out, tilting Buffy's chin up with a finger so they were eye to eye.
"I have always loved you, Buffy...always, from that first day when you sat down next to me."
Buffy's face lit up, but her smile quickly faded with one word. "Oz."
"I love him." Buffy started to turn away but Willow stopped her. "But I'm in love with you." Hazel eyes danced with life. "He knows. He always has. He's a sweet guy and he's been wonderful to me. And he told me that I should tell you. But I was kinda afraid, too." She paused a moment then continued. "I used to pretend that it was you when...well...he never got mad, Buffy, never angry with me. Not even when it was your name on my lips."
"Oh Willow."
The Slayer kissed her again, careful not to hurt her anymore than she was and Willow met her kiss, eager to once again taste her love. When they parted this time, Buffy saw that the cut on her now girlfriend's lip was bleeding.
"I need to take care of you, Will," she said, grabbing a tissue from the bedside table and gently pressing it to Willow's lip.
"I'm ok, Buffy, really, just a little...ow!" Buffy cocked a brow and Willow sighed. "K, maybe I'm a little, ouchy."
"Come on, let's get you to the shower, then I'm going to tend to these wounds." She started to help Willow stand but stopped when the phone rang. "Hang on one second....hello? Yes, Xander, she's going to be ok, I promise...uh huh...hey, did you call Giles? You did? Really? He did? Wonderful! He did make it there, right? Uh huh...ok, tomorrow is good, right now, she needs to rest. Ok, I will...she's going to be fine, promise, I'm taking care of her...ok, bye."
"Is he alright?" Willow asked, worried about their friend.
"He's fine...worried about you, but fine. He ran into Giles while taking that bastard to his car and told him what happened."
"Why do I have this feeling?"
"You mean, the one that screams Ripper?"
"That's the one."
Buffy laughed. "My dear Watcher offered to drive them to the police station."
"Oh no."
"Not to worry, Will, they made it there."
"Yeah, but was Parker alive when they did?"
"Unfortunately, yes. Giles told the police that he stumbled upon the bastard attacking you. He pulled him off, there was a fight, hence the battered would be rapis-battered bastard."
"It's ok, Buffy, he didn't, thanks to you. You saved me."
The Slayer knelt down beside the bed and looked at her.
"I didn't get there soon enough. He still hurt you."
"It could have been a lot worse and we both know that."
"Then he would have been dead'
Buffy's voice, as well as the look in her eyes, assured the redhead that no truer words had ever come from the Slayer's mouth.
"Parker, he'll tell them it was you." Willow's voice was full of panic.
"No he won't, trust me, Will. He's going to admit what he was doing and go along with Giles version."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Giles convinced him...told him it would be easier on him."
Willow had to smile. "I bet."
"You have to go down to the station tomorrow, fill out some papers. Don't worry, I'll be right there with you."
"I like that...the you being with me part."
"Good, cause that's where I'll be from now until forever...with my Willow. I love you, Willow."
"I love you, Buffy."
Their lips met again but the kiss came to an abrupt stop when Buffy felt Willow wince in pain.
"Come on, sweetie," she cooed, grabbing a robe and helping the redhead stand. "No more smootchies until I get you taken care of."
Willow wanted to protest but hurt too much to do so. She slipped into the robe and after Buffy grabbed a few things, including her own robe, followed her to the shower.

Buffy fought back the rage as she looked at her girlfriend's body. It was worse than she had originally thought, Willow's entire backside a mass of black and blue.
"Here, let me."
She took the sponge from Willow and carefully washed the redhead's back. Willow winced but remained quiet. She knew Buffy was doing her best to not hurt her.
"Oh Will," the Slayer whispered, the pain of seeing the woman she loved like this nearly unbearable.
"It's ok, Buffy, it doesn't hurt that much." She lied. She was in agony.
Buffy finished her back and moved to hr front and Willow couldn't help but moan lightly at the blonde's gentle touch. Buffy smiled.
"Naughty Willow," she teased, moving the sponge down her stomach.
"I'm not naughty. You're the one, who jumped in here with me," Willow replied, cracking a smile.
"Did you want to sleep next to Cave Slayer and her very unhygienic ways?" When Willow remained silent, she went on. "I thought not. Besides, honey, I didn't want to pick you up off of the tile floor. I really don't think your body could take anything else."
Buffy's eyes trailed down to Willow's thighs and she tempered her anger. Kneeling down under the spray of the hot water, she placed several gentle kisses on the black and blues skin. Willow closed her eyes and moaned again.
"Thought you said my body couldn't take anything else," she mused, her hands on the Slayer's shoulder for support.
"I'm just kissing it to make it heal faster," Buffy noted, repeating her previous action.
Willow smiled and enjoyed the soft kisses. Buffy finished kissing Willow's thighs and suddenly realized exactly where she was. Warmth filled her body as she took in the redhead's secret charms. The warmth turned to rage, however, as she noticed a rather dark bruise decorating the lower lips of her girl and she growled. Willow's eyes flew open.
"Uh, Buffy, as much as I would so love to, I mean...really, goddess, you don't know how much I WANT TO...but, maybe, well, if we could wait, til' we got back in the room...hard to stand the way it is and with you...I mean, when you...goddess, think I'm going to collapse just thinking about it...see where I'm going here?"
Tempering her anger, Buffy leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on the bruise. Willow gasped, her nails digging into the Slayer's shoulders. Buffy felt her start to fall and quickly moved to catch her.
"Sorry, Will," she apologized, setting her down on the dry floor. 'I saw the bruise there and..." She looked Willow in the eye. "Are you sure I got there in time?"
Willow felt both stupid and wonderful. Stupid, for assuming that Buffy was just going to take her right then and there, and wonderful, because she saw the love on the blonde's face and knew it was all for her. She placed a hand on Buffy's cheek and smiled.
"Yes, I'm sure. He pinched me but that's it, I promise."
Buffy tried so hard to keep her anger in check. It wasn't easy, looking at her beautiful girl's battered face and body.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...I shouldn't have touched you...not now, not after..."
"It's ok, Buffy, I want you to touch me, believe me, I WANT you to. I'm just all, kinda ouchy and fuzzy and maybe we should wait...til' we get back to the room. Besides, I don't know about you, but I'm really not wanting to give the dorm a free show."
Buffy smiled. "I was only kissing it to make it heal faster, that's all, I promise, I wasn't trying to get all fresh or anything. Not that I don't want to, because I do...but when you're ready."
Willow leaned in close and brushed her lips over her ear. "I've been ready for a year now."
Buffy moaned without even realizing it and Willow grinned.
"I have myself one naughty witch I see," she purred, picking up a towel and carefully drying Willow off.
"Yep, you sure do!" Willow proudly exclaimed.
Buffy eyed her mischievously. "I may have to do something about that one day," she stated, easing her into her robe.
"Hmm, a slayer spanking, perhaps," Willow suggested, her body warming to the idea.
Buffy pondered the thought as she put her own robe on.
"Hmm, naughty Will over my knee for a bare bottomed spanking? That could so work."
"Ya think?" Willow mused, watching her gather up their things.
"Oh, definitely...I can see it now."
"You can? Well share, Slayer."
Buffy helped her back to their room and as she did, she told her girlfriend of her visual...and the redhead's smile grew and grew.
