Surprising and Embarrassing Moments

[reviews]

A/N: Sorry for the delay. Finals week!!

------------

Checking her watch for the thousandth time, Willow noticed that she still had an hour before Buffy was due back at her hotel. The flight had been rough, and she had almost become sick on the second bag of peanuts but luckily, the plane landed before she had the urge to vomit again. With speed only she could muster, she hailed a taxi, and arrived at the hotel in record time. As per usual, Buffy always left Willow's name at the desk, in case something ever happened, and she would have to fly in; well, she did fly in but her wife was quite unaware. She had managed to fool her into thinking that she would be working all weekend. The part that she failed to mention was that she would be working HER all weekend. Now, she just had to get everything settled before her wife slumped back into her hotel room.

Knowing that Buffy would call her once she left her interview, Willow placed her cell phone on the nightstand, as she prepared the rest of the intimate surprise party. She almost thought that she was more excited about it than Buffy would be; it was a comforting feeling, and she was more than ready. The phone sex had rekindled something that she missed: those early days of their relationship, where everything involved Buffy. When she went to the bathroom, she would think of Buffy. When she ate dinner, when she read a book, when she locked the house, when she stepped on the plane...everything was Buffy. Even though the fire never died to begin with, Willow felt giddy like a girl on a first date with the most handsome boy (or in her case, most gorgeous girl) in high school.

She was dancing around the large hotel room, lighting candles, putting duck tape on the light switch so Buffy wouldn't turn it on when she walked in the room, laying out the strawberries on a plate, and chilling the champagne that she ordered from room service when she entered the hotel. Looking around, she noticed that it was about that time, so she only had a few minutes to add the finishing touches. Stepping into the bathroom, she started the bath, pouring oils and bubbles into the tub to make it the most pleasurable and relaxing, then she went about lighting candles in there as well. Making a mental check, she realized only two things were missing. Stepping out of her clothes, she went to her carry-on bag, and pulled out her Superman underwear, and the flimsy red cape that they used on occasion. Tonight, she planned on making Buffy fly.

When she heard the familiar voice in the hallway, Willow perched herself sexily on a chair that she positioned in proper view of the door. The door started to click, and she saw more than heard Buffy trying to turn the light switch on with trouble. When the blonde realized that it was more difficult than usual, she moved into the room, where she noticed with suspicion the candlelight. Turning around, she assured Robin that it was okay, and shut the door behind her. Moving in, she laid her leather briefcase by the door, and removed her light jacket, laying it atop the briefcase. It was like coming home after a hard day's work, only the most important part was missing: her wife. Allowing her eyes to adjust, she followed the candle path into the main sleeping area, and her breath hitched when she noticed that her wife actually WAS there. Immediately, Buffy jumped into action.

"Wills...what are you doing here? I thought you had to work?" Buffy moved closer, while Willow just sat lazily in her chair, wearing nothing but underwear, a cape, and a smile.

"Yeah...about that..." She stood from the chair, and moved to wrap her arms around her wife, who readily obliged. "Turns out I had a little scheme of my own."

"Oh, well...far be it for me to get in your way." Buffy attacked her wife, and crushed their lips together. It had been over a week since she'd felt those pouty lips against her own. It was pure torture.

"Mmm...I missed you."

"Missed you more."

"Nuh-uh."

"Uh-huh."

"Okay. I totally win, since I hopped a plane, and flew across country to be with you." Willow smiled, and swayed them softly to the music in their heads.

"Well, I would have...I just...had to work. I would much rather be here in your arms. It's where I belong." Buffy laid her head on Willow's shoulder, and just continued the swaying rhythm, choosing to ignore the state of dress her wife was in at the moment. Right now, she just wanted to enjoy the warmth.

"Well...that's good because I happen to like you here...in my arms." Willow smiled, and started kissing lightly across the blonde's neck, so soft that they were little caresses. "Are you ready for me to pamper you now?"

"Well...like I said...I will not stand in your way." The two girls giggled, and Willow began removing Buffy's clothes slowly, letting the designer clothes fall to the ground, as though they weren't expensive. "Oh, Willow..."

"Shh..." Willow gave all of her concentration to removing the tan leather pants, and once they were gone, she kissed her way back up Buffy's body until she was able to remove her undies. Just when Buffy was about to explode from the stripping, Willow stopped, and the blonde groaned at the loss of contact. "Don't worry. Come with me."

"Okay..." After all, Buffy would follow Willow anywhere. They got into the candle-infested bathroom, and the bath water was at perfect temperature: hot but not enough to scold. Buffy smiled warmly, and took Willow cape off, giggling at the memories that very cape had produced in the past. Inching into the high bubbles, Buffy scooted up, and waited for the redhead to throw her underwear to the side before climbing in behind her. This was one of the best parts. "Mmm...have I told you I love you yet?"

"Well...a few times this morning, I think once before I boarded the plane, which you were unaware of, and now. I happen to love you, too, so that works out perfectly." Willow wrapped her arms around Buffy, as the blonde rested herself in her wife's arms.

"This is heavenly. I think I like it here, and could definitely live here forever." Buffy relished the feeling of Willow's hands rubbing all over the front of her body.
"Well...then we'd get all pruny. We've been over this thousands of times before. Do you really want that?" Willow was currently running her fingertips along smooth, wet skin, and was enjoying it immensely.

"No. We wouldn't want that at all but we at least have to section some time off for this every day." Buffy leaned her head sideways, and kissed her wife sensuously, wrapping one bubble-laden arm around Willow's head, and keeping their mouths in place. The rest of the bath was spent in casual, teasing conversation, and when they were out, the sun had started to set in the East. Without even bothering to dry off, Buffy pulled Willow to the bed, and they proceeded to soak the bed in bubbles, oils, water, and their own love liquids.

"Mmm...that was nice." Willow snuggled into Buffy's waiting form, and they both just relaxed after reconnecting for the second time. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. The blonde was confused, and Willow sat up to let her up, explaining why there would be a knock. "It's room service. I went all out when I got here. Told them to wait until 7 to bring dinner; I just figured we would get a little hungry."

"Yeah, well. Work usually does make me hungry and horny." Buffy giggled, and moved to put a robe around her body. Once at the door, she panicked. Kennedy was standing there with a confused expression. "Oh, shit!!! I totally forgot about dinner!" She moved aside, and let Kennedy in, not wanting to expose herself and Willow to the world. When she shut the door, the two just stood there awkwardly for a moment. It was obvious that Buffy had just had sex.

"So...you haven't been married even a year yet, and you're already having an affair. That's good, Buffy. Classic, even." Kennedy's tone was sarcastic and icy. There was never a doubt in her mind that Willow and Buffy would make it, and she had talked to Faith earlier, who mentioned that the redhead was buried in a new project at work, unsure if she'd make it to see the blonde, which is why she convinced Buffy to have a casual dinner in the first place.

"No, Ken. It's not what it looks like...or, well, obviously it is but it's not what you think, at least. I mean..." Just about that time, Willow walked around the corner of the suite wearing nothing, and making her way towards her wife, and their dinner. She'd heard the door shut, and assumed that Buffy was just preparing things, as she yelled out for her.

"Baby...I think we need to call the front desk, and get new sheets. After that last time, not that I'm complaining mind you, there is no way we'll be able to sleep on them. They're just too wet!" Willow was talking on as though they were the only ones there. She didn't know any better. Kennedy and Buffy were in the entranceway, and she was in the living area of the suite. Buffy just turned beet red, and avoided looking directly at Kennedy, who was just as bug-eyed, and shifty. "Baby? Was that dinner? I'm starving! You wore me out when you had me over the chairs. I didn't think it was humanly possible for a tongue to move that fast."

"Uh, I think you can get a little more volume if you speak from the diaphragm!" Buffy needed to do damage control. Their sex life was a little personal, and she wasn't one to display it to the world, let alone paint it like the young artist had when she was with Willow. Kennedy just arched her eyebrow, and studied the blonde for a moment, amazed that anybody could wear out Willow's sexual appetite. It was no wonder they were good together. Just about that time, the redhead came around the corner, and squeaked when she spotted Kennedy. She was glued to her place, nothing but a bunch of red hair and skin. Buffy saw the panicked expression, and quickly went to help her startled wife.

"Uh, Willow. You might want to go the bedroom, and grab the other robe." Buffy pushed her wife in that direction, and Willow squeaked again, making a hasty exit. "Sorry about that. Um...I had no idea she'd be here. She was just sort of...here when I got here earlier. With all the excitement, I kinda forget about dinner."

"Obviously but it sounds like you had a blast forgetting." Kennedy smirked cockily, and Buffy just laughed a little uncomfortable chuckle.

"Yeah. Well...maybe if you wanna stay, we can eat dinner here. Wills said she ordered room service, and..." Just then, there was another knock at the door, and a loud masculine voice proclaiming that dinner was ready. "It's here, so that takes the precursor from having to order. Um...so, if you want to..."

"Nah. That's okay. I'll catch dinner at my hotel. You seem to have your hands full." Kennedy went to open the door, and the server wheeled the room service into the living room. "I gotta say, though. If anybody can wear Willow out, there is no doubt they'll be together a longgggg time." With that said, she left, and shut the door behind her. Buffy just walked back into the living area, where the server was removing plate lids, and popping open the champagne.

"Will there be anything else, ma'am?" The server finished positioning the bottle back into the ice bucket, and turned to Buffy, as Willow came out of the bathroom, talking without looking again.

"I'm sooo sorry, Kennedy. You know me, and sometimes I have a tendency to babble on with the sex stuff. I thought it was room service, and..." She looked up, and her already red hue went even darker. "Obviously, it's here now, and you're not." Willow stayed glued to her spot again, and kept her eyes on Buffy, who just shrugged, trying to suppress a chuckle.

"Alright. I'll just be on my way. Enjoy your meal." The young man started walking towards the door with a fevered blush, and Buffy told him to wait a second. She ran into the bedroom, and grabbed a few bills from her wallet, running back in to hand him to the poor fellow. "Thank you, ma'am. Enjoy the rest of the evening." When he was out the door, Buffy dropped to the floor in a loud chuckle, as Willow came over to her with an embarrassed scowl.

"Stop laughing. It's not funny, Buffy." Willow knew her tone was a little whiny but she couldn't help it. The blonde just kept rolling on the floor, not caring what popped out of her now open robe. "Stop it! That was embarrassing."

"I'm...sorry, Wills. I just couldn't...and you with the..." She just kept laughing, until she got the patented Rosenberg glare. "Okay, okay. Sorry...it's just that...your sexual appetite seems to be a legend, and now there's proof." Buffy started laughing again, and once she stopped again, she saw that Willow had slumped on the couch with tears in her eyes, and her arms across her torso. 'Uh-oh. I'm in trouble.' Buffy let her last chuckle, and moved over to sit on the couch. Willow wouldn't look at her. "Baby, Wills...come on. It was funny. We'll look back on this moment in ten years, and it'll be nothing be laughs."

"Yeah, well. It's not funny to me." Willow just wiped the tears that were streaking down her face, and resumed her posture.

"Maybe not now but we'll all be with the laughs later. I'm sorry; I should have told you Kennedy was there. We were supposed to have dinner tonight, and I just got so excited that you were here, and totally forgot. When I opened the door, I honestly expected room service, and I panicked. It just got worse when you started yelling from in here. I didn't know what to do because I couldn't find my voice to tell you. I'm sorry, baby. Do you forgive me?" Buffy pouted, and noticed that Willow had that sparkled in her eyes, where she was trying to ignore the pout but was not being successful. Finally, she heard the redhead sigh, and did a little internal dance. 'The Buffy-pout saves the day again! Who needs superheroes?'

"Okay. It was a little funny...but it wasn't at the time." Willow let her know she wasn't off the hook that easy. It's the pout...it never fails. "How about we eat before dinner gets cold?" Buffy just nodded, and helped her wife to her feet, embracing her fully before moving to the table.

"Kennedy seems to think we'll be together forever, by the way." Buffy hinted in her playful tone, wanting to see Willow squirm again. The makeup sex, even if it wasn't really a fight, was always great.

"Oh, yeah? What makes her think that, other than the obvious fact that we will...?" Willow arched her eyebrow, and gave her sexy smile, as she followed Buffy to the table.

"She happened to mention that if anybody can wear YOU out, then there's a definite togetherness factor going for them." Buffy just beamed, and watched Willow blush again. The unspoken fact that they were great together in all factors in their relationship was obvious to anyone but it was more than true that the redhead was quite insatiable at times, and Buffy was more than glad to help her with that for the rest of their lives.
