Tell me if I should continue this and I will....
Just some little info....Anya and Xander did get married, and Sunnydale still remains, this takes place after season seven.

"Willow, I'm home!" Buffy yelled as she tossed her keys down on the little side table and hung her jacket up. It had been a long day at work and she wanted nothing more then a hot bath and then peaceful relaxation in bed. Her job as a woman's self defense instructor was a lot more stressful then she thought it would be. Sure, doing the moves was no problem for her, but she's never been a patient teacher.

She walked up the stairs of her home that had once been owned by her mother, and her sister used to live here too, but that was a long time ago. Since then Buffy had saved the world once, died, got resurrected, went through a hell of a time feeling all empty, almost died again, was saved, realized who she really loved, helped that person, saved the world again, got a job that had very flexible hours and went back to school.

She didn't know what she was going to do now. She needed a better job. That was for sure, especially since she had a family to think about. But what would she be good at? What types of very well paying jobs could she get with being a Slayer? Sure she wasn't the only one, there were two others living in Sunnydale that she shared the responsibility with, but she could never fully give it up, it was just who she is.

"Aw, there's my three favorite girls," she said with a large smile, and leaned against the door jam. She watched Willow from her vantage point at the door. The woman was working away at the computer on the desk.

They had turned Buffy's old bedroom into an office after the two had gotten together those couple of years ago. After they defeated the First Evil and Willow had finally come to terms with the loss of Tara, they had waited a while after that, and then everything just seemed so right when they started dating and moved into the same bedroom.

Willow turned around in the wheelie office chair to reveal her very pregnant belly to Buffy. The blonde smiled with pride as she looked at her girlfriend. Even after all of these years of knowing her Buffy is still amazed by Willow. Everything about the other woman puts Buffy in a state of awe and wonderment. There isn't a day where Buffy isn't amazed by what Willow has accomplished and how sane she is after all she's been through. That fact that Buffy isn't locked up in some mental hospital is surprising to her as well.

She looked down at Willow's stomach and her heart swelled with the pride that was inside of her. She got a distant look in her eyes when she remembered the night it had all happened. The night had that changed their young lives forever, in a good way, in a great way, and Buffy was so glad that she hadn't agreed to go to dinner with Xander.

She had come home from work a little late. Xander had been waiting for her at the front desk of the building and wanted to know if she wanted to go to the Bronze and then maybe get something to eat. She had turned him down, saying that she just wanted to get home and take a shower, but maybe some other time.

When she got home she noticed that something was off. Her Slayer senses were picking up on some signals, but all was well. It looked like Willow had been planning a romantic evening. Buffy went into the kitchen first for some water before heading upstairs. She was smiling to herself, using her Slayer stealthiness to hopefully catch Willow off guard.

What she hadn't been expecting was for Willow to pounce on her as soon as she entered the room. Everything happened so fast that Buffy didn't have a lot of time to register it in her mind as it took place. Before she knew what was really happening she and Willow were in bed together, laying in each other's arms, basking in a great after glow. Willow had never been that dominate as she had that night.

Buffy questioned her about it, wondering what had gotten into the redhead, not that she minded. But Willow couldn't really answer her. Something was up, Buffy just knew there was something wrong, but she didn't really pay attention to it, she wasn't going to let a little nagging thought ruin their great after glow.

Buffy was alone in the bedroom, Willow was in her office working, and Buffy was cleaning. She found a piece of paper on the floor and looked at it with some curiosity. She had never seen it before. It was written in some language she knew she would never be able to understand so, naturally, it had to be one of Willow's spells.

She went into the little office where Willow did most of the work for the computer company that she worked for. She showed the paper to Willow and asked her what it was. Instantly the witch's face turned whiter then it normally is and she almost fainted. She had forgotten all about that spell.

She told Buffy what it was and that she had read it yesterday without thinking. She figured that she would be safe because she had been all alone in the house, but the spell didn't wear off until after she and Buffy had had sex. Once the Slayer heard that she did something very un-Slayer like, she fainted.

The spell Willow had read, the one that she read without thinking, was a spell that would allow a woman to become pregnant by having sex with another woman. They panicked at first. Neither of them was ready to be a mom and they knew that financially they were unprepared. The self-defense class that Buffy taught didn't pay very well, and she was only a junior in college.

Willow's job paid a little better then Buffy's but not enough to support a small family, and she couldn't get promoted until she graduated college and got her degree. They didn't know to do. So they sat down and they thought about it rationally and they came up with a game plan.

Willow was a senior in college and she would be graduating before the baby was born, and her boss had already promised her one big fat promotion once she got the degree. So, they just had other stuff to worry about, like demons, and decorating the baby's room, and picking out a name. Small stuff like that.

Willow thought that even though it was a spell and it probably worked because her spells rarely failed these days, she should at least go to the doctor to make sure. She and Buffy made an appointment three weeks later and went into the office together. They waited nervously for the results, holding hands that were shaky. Willow almost started crying when the doctor came back into the room.

The two women almost fainted when the doctor announced the redhead's pregnancy. They both started crying, but they were happy tears because they would be bringing something beautiful into the world. They couldn't believe it at first and they had no idea of how to tell their friends, but they got through it, and everyone was excited.

It was kind of obvious that the baby would be a girl since there was no male chromosome to create a boy. So they quickly got to the task of turning Dawn's old bedroom into the nursery. Everything was either a soft baby pink or a light Easter yellow. Apparently that's what Willow always imagined her baby's nursery would look like, and Buffy was not about to protest against it.

They had the crib set up, the changing table, a dresser, and many, many outfits, along with diapers and other essentials for a new baby. Everything was set up, everything was perfect, and that's when they were hit with a curve ball. One of those things you could never have anticipated even if someone told you it were coming, you would just laugh it off as a joke.

They went in for the first ultrasound and found out that they would not be having just one baby girl, but two. The news didn't sit well with Buffy at first. The first thing she did when the doctor pointed out the second baby was fainted. When she came to Willow was close to hysterics. And Buffy was worried as well that they wouldn't be able to afford two babies, but Willow did what Willow does best, and she calmed Buffy down and reassured her that everything would work out.

Now here they are, looking at each other from across the small office, they finished adding the things to the nursery (like another crib and changing table) a couple of days ago, now all they had to do was wait for the babies to come and join the world. One more month, that's all it would take, just one more month and their daughters would be born.

"What are you thinking about?" Willow asked as she stood up from her seat and waddled over to Buffy. Buffy had promised her one day when Willow was overwhelmed with hormones that she doesn't waddle, and she doesn't look fat and that she's still attractive (which she is), but she waddles, and it's cute, or so Buffy thinks.

"What are we going to name them? We haven't even thought about that yet," Buffy said and rubbed Willow's belly when the redhead was in reach. She leaned against her blonde and nuzzled the Slayer's neck before placing a small kiss on her pulse point, and pulling away.

"Well, we could come up with some now, or we could do something a little more...stimulating," she said suggestively and raised and eye brawl, and smiled that sexy little Willow-smile that she knows Buffy just can't resist. To her surprise Buffy pulled away and didn't give in to the redhead's charms.

"No Willow, I'm sorry, I want to as much as you do, trust me on that, but the doctor said no. It's too demanding on your body and we don't want anything bad to happen," she said softly and took another step away from the redhead to keep her own hormones in check. Willow rolled her eyes and looked a little irritated.

"But she's just a doctor, how much could she really know? I mean, we saw the degrees up in the office, but we didn't read them. Why can't we? Just tonight. We haven't had sex in over four weeks, and I'm dying here Buffy. Please, pretty please?" she pouted, sticking out her bottom lip and fluttering her eyes lashes. Buffy gulped and then shook her head, trying to get a hold of herself.

"No Willow. We don't want anything bad to happen to the babies, or you. I'm sorry, but we can't," she said. She saw the look of hurt and the flash of anger on Willow's face, and she stood and watched as it slowly turned to understanding. She knew that she shouldn't, but she couldn't help it. These damn hormones have been running through her system and she hasn't been able to get any release.

She placed a small, chaste kiss on Buffy's lips and then gave her a small smile. She looked into the depth of the hazel eyes and wondered what she had done to have gotten so lucky. She never really thought that she deserved love, not after Tara, not after she killed Warren. Not after all of the horrible things that she had done.

"Ow," she said and rubbed her stomach. Buffy watched her closely. She saw the pain that suddenly took over the witch's face after that haunted look she gets whenever she thinks about the bad parts of the past. The look became more frantic and the redhead looked down at her stomach, grabbing it with both hands.

"Ow!" she yelled and almost fell back, if Buffy hadn't've been there to catch her she would have fallen down. The blonde looked at her redhead, nothing but fear in both of their eyes. She sat Willow down on the bed, and watched for a few seconds as the redhead started to cry out of pain.

Buffy ran for the phone and called nine-one-one. She explained what was happening the best she could and the operator told her that help was on the way. She also told her that maybe Willow was going into premature labor, but it could also just be a false alarm and just to stay calm.

She rode with her Willow to the hospital, doing the best she could to stay calm and just breath. Seeing Willow in such pain broke her heart, and she wished that she could take Willow's place, that she could be the one in pain so that Willow wouldn't have to be.

She wanted so badly to follow her love past the large swinging doors that the paramedics took her through, but she was told that she had to stay out. Instead of being with Willow in her time of need she had to stay in the waiting room and fill out stupid insurance forms.

She didn't to be sitting here, and she knew that if she really wanted to go back there and be with Willow, no one could stop her, she's a slayer, so unless there was some vampire on steroids or something back there, she couldn't be stopped. She put the forms down and rushed back to were that they taken Willow. Nurses started yelling at her and followed her, but she told them to screw off and when they looked into her eyes, a look of death written on her features, they backed off, not wanting to get hurt.

It didn't take her long to find Willow. All she had to do was following the screams that sounded like death cries. She rushed into the room. There were nurses and doctors all around the bed while Willow was screaming in pain. She quickly rushed to her side, ignoring the "Miss you can't be in here"-s that the other people kept saying. She didn't care about them, the only things that matter was Willow and the babies.

She let Willow hold onto her hand, which she sort of regretted because even with slayer strength it hurt like hell. Before she really had time to process everything that had happened and what was happening now, she heard the sound of a little baby crying. Everything seemed to be in slow motion as Buffy looked up from Willow's face at the little tiny thing that a nurse carried over to a table. She watched as they cleaned the baby up and weighed her and measured her before wrapping her up in a little blanket.

"Congratulations, you have a healthy baby girl," she said and handed the tiny baby to Willow, who was exhausted and could hardly move, but had no problem holding her child. She looked down at the little girl in her arms. She was just so small, and so perfect with her reddish-blonde hair and light hazel eyes. Buffy watched Willow in awe, never has she seen the redhead look so radiant and beautiful, ever in her entire life.

Willow looked up at Buffy, her green eyes had tears in them as she looked into her love's hazel eyes. She looked back down at the little bundle in her arms that was just staring back up at her. She looked back up at Buffy, a panicked look on her face.

"Hurry, take her," Willow said and held the little baby out for Buffy to take. The blonde quickly took the little bundle from the redhead as she was hit with another contraction. It was hard for Buffy to pay attention to what was going on. She was just looking down into those hazel eyes that were staring back at her and everything else seemed to melt away.

The second baby was born, but they didn't get a chance to see what she looked like or hold her or anything. A nurse took the baby from Buffy and explained that they need to take them and get some tests done because they were prematurely born, but that everything should be fine. Both babies were a little small, but that's understandable what with being a month early. They were both healthy and happy and were brought to their parents.

The doctors had moved Willow into a recovery room and he wanted her to stay there for a couple of days because the labor was stress induced he wanted to make sure that she was fine. When Willow got all settled in and was holding both babies Buffy slipped out of the room and called her friends and told them of the happy news. She tried to get a hold of Dawn, who goes to UCLA, but she wasn't in her dorm room.

Now the two women were sitting in the room. Buffy holding the baby that was born second, Willow holding the other. The second baby was a little smaller then her sister, her hair was a little redder and her eyes were blue, a very deep blue. They were both sleeping right now, and both women couldn't be any happier with the outcome.

"Willow," Buffy whispered and looked up at her love. She was awestricken when she saw how beautiful the woman looked. Willow looked over at her and they locked eyes. They two held each other's gazes and Buffy quickly forgot her question. But when the little girl in her arms started to move around she quickly remember.

"What are we going to name them?" she asked in a hushed tone, not wanting to wake the little babies. She watched, as Willow looked down at the little sleeping child in her arms, their child, one of their children. Buffy still couldn't believe that they were parents.

"Well, I've been thinking about that, actually. I think she kind of looks like a Katelyn," the redhead said and looked down at the baby in her arms. Buffy very carefully stood up and leaned over the bed so that she could look down at the baby nestled in her lover's arms. She smiled a megawatt smile. Yes she definitely looks like a Katelyn, she thought and then looked into Willow's eyes.

"Katelyn Nicole Rosenberg-Summers. What do you think?" she asked and then leaned in a placed a soft, loving kiss on Willow's lips. She pulled away and watched Willow gently bite her bottom lip like she sometimes does when she's thinking hard about something.

"It's perfect," she said and looked down at the little bundle in her arms. They were both just so perfect, and Buffy was perfect, everything about this moment was just...perfect. Buffy looked down at the little girl in arms as a name slipped its way into her mind. She looked over at Willow and couldn't help but smile.

"What about Shay Raquel, for her?" she asked and carefully turned so that Willow could get a good look at the baby sleeping soundly in Buffy's arms. She thought about, let the name roll over in her mind over and over again. She imagined herself yelling out the name when the girl is older and doing something bad. She smiled and then looked up into hazel eyes that were shiny with happiness.

"I love it, it's perfect, they're perfect," she said and looked at little Shay in Buffy's arms and then back down to little Katelyn. Buffy sat down in the chair next to the bed and started to relax some more. They looked over at the door when they heard it open and Xander and Anya were standing there, balloons and flowers in their hands. They had really outdone themselves.

"Do you feel like visitors?" he asked and then walked into the room when Willow nodded her head. He put the balloons on one table while Anya put the flowers on another. She thought that it was pointless to go out and guy the things while Willow was in labor. She just wanted to get there as soon as possible to see the little babies.

"Congratulations," he said and leaned over the bed to give Willow a friendly kiss on the forehead. He looked down at the sleeping baby in her arms and let out a little 'awwwe', and Willow couldn't help but smile. Xander may try to act tough sometimes but when it comes to babies he's all hugs and kisses and little baby noises that people can't resist to make.

"They're so adorable. Can I hold one?" Anya asked and looked from one mom to the other. They looked a little unsure. The only other people who had held their children were the doctors and nurses. Buffy didn't even know if Anya had ever held a baby before and was worried if she would drop her or not.

"Ok, but just be careful," she said as she rose from her seat and carefully handed over little Shay. She was surprised at how gentle Anya was, seeing a side of the ex-demon that she had never seen before. They all sat in a comfortable, joyful silenced and watched the two little creatures.

"What are their names?" Xander asked and sat down in the chair that Buffy didn't want to sit in anymore. She was sitting on the bed next to Willow now, being careful not to move too much so she wouldn't wake the little slumbering baby. She smiled and looked up at Xander and then back over at Willow, who gave her a 'go head, you tell him' look.

"This one is Katelyn Nicole," she gently touched the top of her daughter's head. "And that one is Shay Raquel." She looked over at the little one that Anya was holding. Their two friends let out a couple more 'awes' and then they were quiet again. Buffy looked over at Xander who had a small smile planted on his face as he watched Anya with the baby. He thought the sight was breathtaking, and he couldn't wait for the day that she would be cradling their first child. But then he got a look of confusion on his face and he looked over at Willow.

"I thought you weren't due until next month, what happened?" he asked and Willow looked up at him, not so sure if she should tell the truth or just cover it up with a little white lie. But she decided that the truth was best, because everything turned out ok.

"It was stress induced," she said and pleaded with her eyes that he would just take that for an answer, and he did, giving her a look that told her he understood. She doesn't think about the bad parts of the past very often but when she does she would just rather not talk about it at all with anyone, including Buffy.

"How are you going to tell them apart?" Anya asked and looked from one woman to the other. "They look exactly the same, how do you know which one is which?" Buffy smiled and looked down at the little baby in Willow's arms.

"Their eyes are different. Katelyn's eyes are like mine, but Shay's are blue, almost the same color as-" she stopped, not wanting to say the name because she knows how haunted Willow still is by it. She's moved on, yes, but it still hurts to think about her ex-lover and it probably always will.

"Like Tara's," she finished for her. Buffy looked over and saw the unshed tears in Willow's eyes. But these were happy tears, Buffy noticed, and she couldn't help but smile. Both babies started to wake up, and became a little fussy so Anya gave her back to Buffy. Buffy tracked down a nurse and had her bring them two bottles and Xander took many pictures with the cameras he had boughten in the gift shop. It was amazing seeing their little babies eat for the first time and the two of them couldn't wait for all of the other firsts that were to come.

So, what do you think?
