Chapter 2
Back at Buffy's house everyone was tucked in and sleeping peacefully. Okay almost everyone. Willow was staring up at the ceiling drowned in the guilt she felt for kicking Buffy out. She was still looking at it when she felt a tugging in the back of her mind.
A voice started to call out to her and all she could do was listen, 'Willow open up your mind.'
It kept saying it over and over into Willow reached out with all her magic abilities and picked up a message, 'Sorry Will.'
Willow's eyes opened immediately. She jumped out of the bed and threw on a jacket. She could sense where and who it was coming from. Buffy. She ran down streets and through alleyways always keeping her eyes open. She came up to another neighborhood.
She felt that she was close so she slowed down to a jog. She saw a small group of people gathered around something in a circle. She decided to hang back and see what they were doing. She heard a voice she thought she would never hear again. Tara's. As she moved closer she saw that the 'people' were really the bringers with their dark robes on. She creeped up and through a crack in the circle of quickly leaving bringers and vamps she saw Buffy. She waited knowing she couldn't make a move while there were so many of them. When there was only one bringer left he added insult to the obvious injuries the blond had by spitting on her lifeless body. Willow lost it at that point and let loose a spell that instantly killed the bringer.
Willow moved up to the unmoving blond and crouched down next to her her knees sinking into one of the puddles of her blood. She reached out with a shaky hand and felt for the blondes pulse. She breathed a sigh of relief when she found a faint one still there. She started to pull Buffy out of the blood when she found another pull at the back of her mind, 'Will are you there?'
Willow stood in shock because the voice this time was Buffy's even though the blond's lips hadn't moved at all.
