Summary - Takes place during Aftermath and College - when Buffy realises that she's in love.

Buffy held Willow's hand loosely as they walked back to her house. She needed to be ready in case a vamp attacked on the way home.
They had spent the night dancing at the Bronze, and Willow was staying over. Xander hadn't been invited as it was just going to be a girls night kind of thing.
Buffy didn't want to say it, but she was secretly glad. She didn't seem to get to spend enough time with her best friend.
"So, what movie are we watching?"
Willow's voice brought Buffy out of her own thoughts.
"Well, I haven't actually picked any up, you wanna head over to the video store and pick some up?"
Willow shook her head.
"Nah, we can just channel hop and see what we find."
Buffy smiled and swung their joined hands as they walked.

Willow yawned and tried to keep her eyes open, but she was exhausted.
Buffy took pity on her and turned off the television.
"You look beat."
Willow half smiled even as her eyes closed again.
They snapped open when she felt two arms move under her body.
"Easy, I was just going to move you under the covers." Buffy smiled at her friend and stifled a giggle at the sleepy yawn she got in return.
Willow held in the gasp at the feel of Buffy picking her up and moving her under the covers as if she weighed nothing.
Buffy frowned as she realised that she was reluctant to leave Willow, even to turn off the bedroom lights.
As she crawled back into the bed, she fought to keep her own eyes open, even as she heard Willow's even breathing, indicating that she was sleeping.
As her eyes closed for the final time, Buffy wasn't aware of the fact that she had moved over until she had wrapped an arm around Willow, nor was she aware when Willow snuggled into her embrace.

Buffy didn't know what had woke her, but as her eyes opened, the first thing she saw, was the sleeping face of her best friend.
The Slayer couldn't help but think that at that moment, everything was right with the world.
Her eyes widened when she realised that she liked waking up beside Willow, and wished that she would have more opportunities to do so in the future.
'I love her'
The thought made Buffy smile.
The smiled still on her face, she snuggled back into her best friend and tightened her grip, pulling Willow half on top of her.
'I'm in love'
