A/N: Geeze I finally got to update my internet has been down for a day or so so it has been hard to update. Here it is though hope you like.
Chapter 3
Buffy ran through the night the wind making her hair trail behind her. She knew if Willow had decided to run that she would not get there first.
But at the moment all rational thought had left her and all she thought was, 'Can't let them get hurt,' she even forgot the fact that Willow could probably kick Riley's ass over the moon.
Tara was struggling to keep up with the fast pace Willow had set to get to Riley's. In Willow's mind the only thing she could hear was, 'Kill.'
Tara ran up to her and spun Willow around. The redhead was about to shout at her when Tara covered Willow's mouth with hers. The kiss did what Tara had wanted it to and calmed Willow down.
Willow finally started to let some of the tears come at Riley's betrayal but only for a minute. She came out of Tara's embrace and kissed Tara gently whispering, "Thanks," in her ear.
Tara let a smile come across her face and let her hand entwine with Willow's.
They set off for Riley's determined looks on both their faces.
Riley was sitting on his bed when his bedroom door burst open. He jumped out and took a defense position grabbing onto the one thing close at hand his pen. When he saw Willow in the doorway he somewhat came out of his position but was still wary at the redhead. When he saw Tara come in he said "What are you doin here?"
Willow never answered and came across the room punching him on the chin sending him into the wall. The pen never left his grasp even as he let out a scream of pain.
He got up slowly and started to circle the room. Willow did the same pulling Tara behind her.
"So I ask again why are you here?" Riley asked keeping his eyes on the two women.
Willow almost charged at him but stepped back and said angrily, "You know why. How could you do that to her."
Riley smirked and said, "Who. Buffy? If your talking about that slut than I was just following orders."
Tara held Willow back who had a murderous look in her eyes, "She... Is... Not... A... SLUT!" Willow yelled at him taking deep breaths in between the words.
Tara however was curious, "What do you mean you were following orders?"
Riley grinned and explained, "You know those commandos," Tara nodded, "Ya I'm one of them."
Before anyone had a chance to talk the door opened up and Buffy came in. Riley wasted no time and pulled her into a hammerlock and held the pen to her throat, "No one try to follow me," Riley said as he went out the door.
