A/N: This is my first attempt at writing a book without the demons, and stuff, so be kind.

Chapter 1

"Hey," Willow said slightly out of breath from her mad dash to the Expresso Pump.

"Hey," Tara said standing up, and giving Willow a gentle hug.

"So anything knew with you?" Willow asks taking the mocha Tara offered her.

Tara shook her head, "Nothing, no new person if that's what you mean."

Willow frowned slightly. Willow, and Tara used to be together, for a year or so. But after a while they just didn't have the spark that they had at the beginning of their relationship.

"Willow?" Tara said waving her hand in front of Willow's face trying to get her out of her thoughts.

Willow's head snapped up at that, "What? Oh sorry, you know me just get lost in my own head sometimes," Willow said emphasizing that by tapping her head lightly.

Tara nodded, and settled back into the comfy new booths they had just got a week ago.

They sipped at their respective drinks not talking for a couple minutes just soaking up the others company.

Finally Tara broke the silence, "So I told you about me. What have you been up to these last five months?"

Willow put her cup down and thought about that for a moment, "Well I got a promotion to vice president of my software company."

Tara grinned and leaned across the table to give Willow a hug, "Congratulations, I always thought you were better that that Warren guy, and now I know I was right."

Willow smiled, "Ya he supposedly wanted to get into robotics or something, I don't remember exactly."

They sat another five minutes until they were finished with their drinks.

They walked out of the door, and gave each other another small hug before walking back to their cars and driving off.

Willow pulled up to a stop sign looking around the making sure there were no other cars around. She stopped quickly and moved through the stop sign.

Her cell phone started to ring in her purse. She dug into her purse with one hand. When she had it in her hand's she flipped the screen up and said, "Hello."

A sigh of relief came from the other side, "There you are Willow, I have been looking every where for you."

"Hey Xander what's up?"

"Just wanted to say that your boss is calling like everyone you know, and he doesn't have your new cell number yet."

Willow swore under her breath, "Okay... Just call him back, and tell him that I will be over in about ten minutes okay?"

Xander said it was fine, and they both hung up.

Willow tried to find her purse with one hand, but it had slipped off the back seat when she hit a bump.

She brought her head around to look for it. She was able to find it after three seconds, and she quickly stuffed her cell in it.

When she brought her eyes back up, she saw the flash of incoming headlights.

Willow jammed the steering wheel to the right.

She barely felt the collision, because her head snapped out, and nailed the steering wheel causing the world to go black.

A/N: So you like, any questions, comments. Tell me if you want me to continue if you do have questions I can probably answer them next chapter.

P.S Hope to maybe get another one out Sunday, or Monday. Remember to review.
