A/N: Everything happened normally until now.
Chapter 1
Buffy yawns as she wakes up. Only yesterday had she been threatened with the masters return.
She looks out the window, and groans seeing that outside it is still dark. She rolls over, and glares at the clock which is showing 2:00 a.m.
She tries to go back to sleep, but finds it impossible.
She jumps up, and grabs a stake, and cross from her drawer, and starts downstairs.
She pulls on her light leather jacket, and throws the door open making sure to stop it before it hits the wall to keep quiet.
She walks straight to the nearest cemetery, and starts to look around for a vamp.
She smiles seeing a new vamp popping up from a fresh grave, "Hey I was just wondering if you wanted me to kill you fast, or slow?"
His only answer is to jump at her. Buffy jumps out of the way, and lets him hit the tombstone behind her.
He comes back up shaking his head a little. Buffy comes up, and kicks the back of his knee causing a crack to be heard.
He drops to his good knee, and grabs at the other knee. Buffy rolls her eyes, and stakes him.
"Well I guess it was fast," Buffy says stuffing the stake back into her pocket.
She walks away weaving through the graveyard. All of a sudden a shadow appears right in front oof Buffy.
"What the?" Buffy exclaims. The shadow starts to reach out the small tentacles it made grabbing at Buffy.
She pulls at the ones that hook around her wrists.
She doesn't notice another one sneaking its way around her ankle. It pulls her off balance, and she lands on her back.
A whoosh of air escapes Buffy. She starts to scream as the tentacles pull her into the shadow.
It begins to dissolve along with Buffy.
Buffy finds herself dropped off into a black space. She is surrounded by blackness, and the only thing she can hear are small incoherent whispers.
"Hello?" Buffy yells out. Nothing happens, "Hello!"
