Buffy felt a trance of fear run over Her but She wanted to hear it out aloud.

"When a God dies it's power goes somewhere mostly to the most magical thing in the area. when Glory kicked off Her power had to go somewhere, Giles not powerful enough for God power, You Buffy while You are part magic You don't use magic, Tara the power would see Her as food."
