"Will, can we take this to your room. There is something I need to tell you, and I would rather not be bothered when I say it," I said as we came back in the house.
"Sure, but you're making me a little nervous with all the cryptic," Willow said taking my hand and leading us upstairs.
I love the feel of fingers in mine. It is like they were meant to be this way. She opens up her bedroom door, and it's like I'm back in her room when we first met. It was neat, and everything had its place.
"Buffy, where did you go?" she asked as I smiled.
"Sorry, just a little deja vu. Okay, I'm just say this before I chicken out. Will, it wasn't just Dawn that wanted to come back. I figured some things out after my relationship with Don ended. I realized that it wasn't me, it was the men I have been dating. I came back because my feelings for you changed. I needed to see you to tell you that I love you," I said looking into Willow's eyes trying to gage her reaction to my revelation.
I watch her, and she is about say something, but walks over to me and gives me the tenderest kiss I have ever had.
I opened my eyes to the sweetest sight. Willow was giving me a smile that left me with the impression that she wanted to devour me. Instead, she takes me over to the bed, and we laid down as she wrapped her arms around me.
I wake up to the knock on the door. I curl back into Willow to try and fall back asleep, but whoever is knocking won't leave. Willow gives me a kiss on the head before telling whoever to come in.
"Hey Willow, have you seen...nevermind," Dawn said as her and Dana came in. I nuzzled back into Willow before falling back asleep.
