chapter 16

An hour later Buffy was lying on her back, eyes closed and a contented smile on her lips. Willow was beside her propped up on one elbow quietly studying Buffy's features. Both were still completely undressed though a thin sheet covered them from the waist down. The young red head who just a few hours ago was gloomy and distraught now felt so completely happy that she felt as if she would burst into tears at any moment. She had just made love to the girl of her dreams and she wondered if she would ever again feel as wonderful as she did at this moment.

Only one thing bothered her and after some hesitation since she didn't want to spoil the moment she gathered her courage. "Buff?"

"Hmmmmm?" Buffy murmured not opening her eyes.

Willow reached out and with one finger she drew a circle around the nipple of Buffy's right breast. "I was thinking about something. I mean not here for the first time but I was just thinking about it now. It seems that I always........ya know, think about it when I'm with you and when I'm naked.......ya know........with you."

Buffy pushed herself up on both elbows. "For heaven sakes what is it?"

Willow furrowed her brow and withdrew the finger. And blushed. "Well, what I was wondering. Thinking about it as I always do when.........."

Buffy all but laughed aloud. "Will you please ask what you have to ask. You know there's nothing you can't ask, honey."

"Okay here's what I've always wondered. Like I've always thought........."

Buffy shot Willow a disapproving glare.

Willow immediately got the message. "I always wondered if you thought I was too small."

"Too small? What is that supposed to mean?"

Willow reached down and lifted a breast. "My breasts. Do you think they're too small? I'm not very endowed. That's clear."

Buffy laughed out loud this time curling over on one elbow so she was gazing directly into Willow's face. "Too small? What am I a guy who is so caught up in the size of a woman's breast it trumps every thing else." Buffy glanced down first at Willow's then at her own breasts. "I'm hardly voluptuous by the way. I barely do much damage to a B cup. If you really need to know your breasts are absolutely great. They're perfect."

"Well," Willow said sheepishly now embarrassed that she had asked. "I always was afraid when you see other girls and what they have........."

Buffy silenced Willow with a kiss. Tenderly she rubbed Willow's cheek with the back of her hand. "The first time I ever saw you I wanted to kiss you Willow. And I didn't realize I was gay at the time. It was you that opened the door to that world. It's never been about the size of any part of you. By the way I find you stunningly attractive It's always been about you. About Willow Rosenberg the girl who talks to me, listens to me, cares about my feelings and how I'm feeling, who comforts me when I need it, who offers me her shoulder when I need to cry, who lets me know every day and in every way that she loves me. That's not arrogance on my part but I wake up every single morning knowing that there is one person in the world that loves me. You show me and tell me every day in my heart. That is so very important to me, Willow darling. Not once have I ever thought about the size of your breasts. I adore them sure, because you go with them. Okay"?

Willow nodded in her shy way. Buffy kissed her on the mouth again.

"I have another question, Buffy."

"Ohhhhh. Go ahead."

"That herbal tea? That made you horny?"

"Yeah? What about it?"

Willow peeked up at Buffy. "Are you still horny?"

Buffy shook her head in amazement then fixed on Willow eyes. "A wee bit. Why?"

Willow answered with a powerful kiss that drove Buffy onto her back. As Willow climbed on top of Buffy and her hands started to rove over the Slayer's body she whispered into Buffy's ear. "At least you have an excuse."

It was another hour later. Melanie had returned and no doubt looked at the clothes that were still lying around and called up the stairs. "Movies. I'm going to the movies. Bye."

Buffy and Willow giggled. "I guess we should get dressed"

"I guess," Willow said swinging her feet to the floor. She picked up both pairs of panties from the floor and handed Buffy hers. Willow slipped hers on as Buffy did the same with hers. As they went down the stairs they dressed in the opposite order they had undressed except that the petticoats had to be slipped under their skirts after.

Buffy and Willow sat in one off the lounge chairs by the pool. Buffy was leaning against the back of the chair with her skirt tucked between her legs. Willow was in between her back against Buffy, her knees drawn up as Buffy held her in a hug.

"This has been a perfect day, Willow. Absolutely perfect. I felt bad about not calling you right away. I knew you'd be worried but I wanted to meet you face to face just so.......well just so we could have together. I have to thank Melanie for bringing you over and for all that followed."

"I almost didn't come. I was so down Buffy. So low. How long were you home?" Willow turned her head and let Buffy kiss her.

"Four hours," Buffy replied to the query. "Had to be interviewed by the police. Tell them where I was being held. Spend some time with my Mom. And Dawn. I made them swear not to call you."

Willow squeezed Buffy's hand where it sat on her belly. "I'm glad. Now. Thankful that you waited so we could be together. I don't want this day to end, Buffy.

"Nor I." Buffy said. "Nor I."

By the way how did you get away? There were five of them. Bad odds."

Buffy explained everything except the brief smooching with Dusty and Dorie. She told how Dorie had told her the signal and how she rapped on the door. "The girl opened the door and she was shocked to see me. It froze her so I just yanked her inside onto the stairs, She all but fell down the steps. By the time she gained her balance she was locked in with Dusty and Dorie. I didn't search the place except I did find my cell on the table near the outside door. Of course the battery was dead. Figures. And my car was gone. I suppose they ditched it somewhere in Sunnydale when they brought you and Dawn back."

"Why in the world did you let Dusty go? She would have killed you."

"I know. But she kept her word and let you and Dawn go. She didn't really have to. Plus my death would have been only because of necessity to her. If she wanted to go on being young it was her only option."

"You're very forgiving," Willow said.

Buffy kissed her once more. "Do you forgive me for knocking you out?"

"You know I do." Willow pecked Buffy on the cheek. "I have a glass jaw don't I?"

"Did the police arrest them all by the way?" Willow went on.

"Not all of them. That's not a surprise though. When I escaped from the house I had to walk back to the main highway. That itself took over an hour and a half. At one point I had to duck off the road when I heard a car coming. It was the other two Slayers, at least that's who I thought they were. I suppose the one I pushed down the stairs freed Dorie and Dusty and pounded on the door long enough for the two girls I saw on the road to hear them when they came back. What's strange is when the police raided the house they found the three girls locked in the cellar and Dusty and Dorie gone. She had betrayed them in the end."

Willow thought that not particularly amazing. "So she wasn't to be trusted after all. Even by her worker bees."

"That," Buffy said. "That is the real shocker. Whatever Dusty's short comings I truly believe she was loyal to her people. I've been trying to understand why she turned on them. And not on Dorie. I don't know what happened down there, I suppose I'll never know, but it doesn't seem reasonable that she would do that."

"Do you think she'll die?"

Buffy was at a loss to answer that accurately. "She said she only had a short window. Days at the most. Unless she found another host. Someone with my rare blood type and who was menstruating it doesn't seem possible, does it?"

"On the other hand, Dusty is quite a calculating woman. Or is she a girl? I can never decide which." Willow said.

They sat silently for a long moment looking up at the blue sky now bathed in the evening twilight. Whatever had happened, tonight the two had each other and that was good enough.

Buffy pushed Willow to her feet and rose. She took Willow's hand. "Better head home. Mom's probably cooking super."

They only took a few steps when Buffy stopped and turned to Willow. "Got an idea. Why don't you sleep over. Not in much of a patrolling mood. That stuff is still raging through my system and don't want to be left...........wanting."

Willow winked mischievously. "Ooooooooh. Would never let that happen to you."
