The Simple Black Dress

chapter 3

[reviews]

don't know what constitutes NC-17 but this chapter may be close. Besides action/adventure this story has much to do with Buffy's and Willow's love for each other so naturally they have a physical need for each other also. Having said that it's my opinion, and intention, that this doesn't reach the point of NC-17 but beware anyway.

Cathy

Buffy and Willow were enjoying themselves at the reception and throughout it they flirted with each other outrageously. It was subtle, no one else would ever have noticed it, but the eye contact, the gestures with their hips and hands, were not missed by the other. What was thought by others as casual contact was not that at all. How often can you lean against someone? Or bump into them? Or steady yourself by placing your hands on their waist, or hip, or arm?

Well, if no one else noticed, the two involved, Willow and Buffy, were being almost overwhelmed by the sexual tension that was flowing. By the time they, and Aunt Morgan, were ready to leave for home it was almost unbearable. When the aunt asked if they would mind if she dropped a friend off on the way home it was greeted with inward groans. How could they last? But there wasn't much choice so they answered, "Not at all."

Buffy and Willow climbed into the back seat and the ride home proved to be more than bearable after all. In the compact car their hips were against the others and since the woman Aunt Morgan was dropping off chatted exclusively with the aunt, she never noticed that Buffy and Willow were doing some mild petting. Their hands rested lovingly on the other's thighs as they casually enjoyed the presence of the other and their thoughts on the night ahead.

After returning they said their good nights and hurried off to the bedroom. No sooner than the door was closed they crawled into each other's arms without bothering to undress.

When the kiss ended Buffy led her girlfriend over to the bed and sat her down. "Can I stop my heart from racing? The answer is no." She took Willow's cheeks in the palms of her hands, tipped her head up and kissed her long and deep holding the embrace as she sat down on the bed beside the redhead.

Willow released her body into the kiss pressing it against Buffy's as if she wanted to crawl inside her. Her arms went around to the Slayer's back and pulled Buffy onto her as she fell backwards on the bed. Willow's mouth was open fully welcoming in Buffy's entering tongue with her own. Only that Buffy's mouth was on her's were her moans silenced to a series of soft, muffled sounds.

When the kiss broke off Buffy was fully on top of Willow and she looked down dreamily into the Wiccan's eyes. How could she ever live if Willow wasn't at her side sharing these passionate moments, sharing her love with only Buffy?

Willow's hands found the zipper on the back of Buffy's dress and tugged it down to the small of her back. Buffy had to roll off Willow momentarily so she could remove the garment. Willow sat up and pulled Buffy's petti-coat down and tossed it to the floor.

"That's better." Willow said admiringly.

Buffy, her face flushed, her body yearning for Willow's touch, forced Willow onto her back once more. Buffy pressed her knee into Willow's middle as there lips met once again. Buffy rolled pulling Willow on top of her. The feeling of the Wiccan's weight sent bolts of pleasure through her.

"I want you Will. I want you. I want you." Buffy felt Willow's hands exploring, searching and she felt her bra being removed and then the soft caressing of Willow's mouth on her nipples.

Buffy's fingers moved down Willow's back and found the zipper of the black dress and pulled it down. Quickly Buffy's hands grasped the straps of the dress at the shoulder and pulled it forward baring Willow's breasts to hers.

Buffy was never sure exactly what happened at that moment. All she would recall was the sudden, frozen stiffness she was greeted with. Willow shot up clinging to the front of the dress. She clutched it to her chest, an expression of horror on her face.

"DON'T DO THAT!!!" Willow didn't scream it out but the words were harsh. Words spit out from deep inside her as recoiled, trembling as she did.

Buffy was stunned silent. A slap couldn't have been more painful. Shocked she could only stare in disbelief at Willow's enraged, distorted face as she fumbled with the front of her dress to again cover her nakedness.

Time halted as the two could only look at each other in stunned silence. What had just happened hurt Buffy deeply. It was more than the rejection, it was if she had grossly over stepped a boundary she had never realized was there. Her face reddened with embarrassment. Tears welled in her eyes and she had to turn away from Willow.

When she did she wasn't able to see Willow's expression turn to anguish. Her hand flew to her mouth. My God! What have I done?

"Oh Buff. I didn't mean that." Willow was herself in tears. "I love you hun. Forgive me darling. I ......I don't know what happened to me. I'm yours Buffy. All of me is yours." Willow ripped off the dress Buffy had been trying to remove and flung it aside. She gathered Buffy in her arms kissing her over and over, refusing to let Buffy pull away. Both started sobbing as they clung to each other in relief.

"Please tell me you love me Buff. P.......please love me. I would never, ever hurt you. I don't know what happened to me. I just.........don't know."

Buffy forced herself to smile as she pulled Willow deeper into her arms. She stroked the hair of the red head until her sobs subsided. The moment had been miserable but it was gone. Passed. At least that was what she told herself. She loved Willow and Willow loved her.

After a while their mouths found each other and their kisses became hungry, kisses that expressed their want for each other. Willow let Buffy push her down again as she wanted Buffy to. Their hands, fingers once again began to explore the curves and valleys, the familiar terrain of the other's body.

* * * * *

When morning arrived Buffy was gratified to find that there wasn't a hangover from Willow's puzzling behavior of the night before. Her memories were only of their wonderful and fulfilling love making that followed. Willow had been her usual caring, tender, and at the same time, ravenously uninhibited lover.

Buffy propted herself up on one elbow on the bed and watched Willow as she slept peacefully beside her. She fought the urge to lean down and kiss her parted lips but was afraid it would wake her. Instead she just gazed down enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. She thought how lucky she was to be, at the age of sixteen, able to share feelings so deep, so all consuming with some one who loved you back just as much as you loved them. Buffy tried to put herself in Willows place. That Buffy was a Slayer who one day might not survive the encounters she endured was always preying on Willow's mind, as it would be on hers if the situation was reversed. To think, as Willow must, that she would lose Willow in so final a way was just to painful to contemplate. Buffy vowed to herself that she would never again take needless risks, as Willow often begged her not to. Their was nothing in the world more important to her than the love of the girl lying beside her this morning.

Willow stirred and open her eyes. "Hi Buff."

"Hi Willow."

Willow rolled herself into Buffy's grasp. "I'm probably going to wear you out this week."

Buffy raised her eyebrows. "You're welcome to try."

At that point there was a soft knock on the door. Willow jumped out of the bed and hurried over to the other bed and quickly tossed the covers to one side and got in. "so.................. Why, Buffy wondered, did that dress alarm her?

Come in," she said drawing the covers up to conceal her nakedness.

The door opened a crack and Aunt Morgan's head poked in. "Got breakfast ready."

"Be right there," Buffy said. "Do we have time to shower?"

"Certainly," the aunt said retreating. "It'll hold for a while."

Buffy got up and gathered the clothes she had discarded the night before as Willow disappeared into the bathroom. It was then that Buffy noticed the black dress Willow had worn and tossed to the floor last night wasn't there. She looked around. Where was it?

Then she spotted it and it gave her a start. It was on the chair, folded neatly, almost lovingly, as if someone had taken great care with it. It was a borrowed dress but even so............ Why, Buffy wondered, did that dress alarm her?
