~Howard, I never hold my stories hostage for reviews. I was trying to be funny, lighten up. :P
Before anything happened, I heard my name from the top of the stairs. I looked up to see Willow with tears in her eyes as she ran down the steps and into my arms. I knew Giles and Graham could fill everybody else in while I explain what happened to Willow. I carried her straight out the back door and onto the big deck chair. I had situated her on my lap and was about to speak when she crushed her lips on mine.
"Willow, I want to start off by telling you how sorry I am. I promise you I will be better from now on. Okay, now to how I got out. Well, it seems the Council has Watchers inside the Initiative, and when Giles called his contacts, they got a hold of Graham who got a few of the others to get the information they collected from me, and then secured my release," I explained awaiting the yelling.
"Buffy, there isn't anything to apologize for, but I do think we need to talk more before you decide to do things to help me out. I love that you want to spoil me, but I'm not as fragile as you think I am. And oh yeah, we are moving back into the house. Your mom's 'resolve' face kick mine's ass, so I caved," Willow giggled before running her hands all over my body. I was about to ask what she was doing, but the back door opened.
Willow helped me up as Mom and Dawn came out and hugged both Willow and I. Afterwards, Mom and Willow took Dawn back inside leaving me with Tara and Faith. Faith came over and gave me a hug before she started to cry. I gave her a kiss on the cheek before she went back inside to hide the fact she was crying. As soon as the door shut, Tara walked over to me with a smile on her face and smacked me upside the head.
"Elizabeth Anne Summers, if you ever go off without telling anyone again, I am personally going to kick your ass. I'm glad you are okay, but make no mistake sweetie, I am very mad at you, and if I were to venture a guess, I'm not the only one," Tara said before giving me a hug as we headed back inside.
Since I discussed the Council business on the way over, I left Giles and Graham with the gang while I went to iron things out with Faith. I remember the look on her face when she opened the door, so I need to make sure things are okay. I found her standing by Tara, so I grabbed her hand and led her down to the basement.
"Faith, I want to apologize for scaring you because I know how much you hate feeling abandoned, for that I am deeply sorry. But, I knew you were going to be okay if anything happened because you would have protected the gang while they would take care and love you," I said pulling her into my lap to get her to let it all out without the audience.
I don't know how long we were sitting there when Faith's head popped up off my shoulder and looked straight into my eyes before giving me a kiss on the cheek. I kissed her back as she sat up, and I knew she was probably going to give me hell too.
"B, I love you. I could never say that when we were dating probably because it wasn't the way I loved you, and yes, your disappearence did scare me even though I knew you were fine through our slayer bond, but when I opened the door and saw that you were unharmed, I was shocked knowing what I've seen those guys do. That being said, the next time we train, I am so going to kick your ass for the shit you put this family through," Faith said as I surprised her by throwing her to the mats.
I had the upper hand until Faith swept out my legs and got them into a leg lock before starting to tickle me. I watched her as she focused her eyes upstairs before hearing the door open. I couldn't tell by the legs who it was coming down, but when I finally saw who they belonged to, I knew I was in trouble.
