Well, it's been a couple weeks since our fun shopping trip, but today is the big day. We get to find out the sex of the baby which is good for two reasons. One, Faith and I can finally finish the nursery with whatever pattern, and on a lighter note, Baby Gordo finally gets a name. Also according to Faith, there is a pool going as to the sex. Xander is the lone vote for a boy, probably for the lack of guy friends.

Willow's moods have been pretty much Jeckyl/Hyde lately, and of course as the bestest girlfriend, I do whatever she asks. I didn't mind except for the couple days she couldn't stand to be in the same room as me which ended with her completely apologizing. Mom informed me that she had the same feelings when she was carrying me.

So here we are riding in the backseat of the Jeep with Tara driving and Faith beside her. They had to take us because today Wil can't stand the sight of Giles, and if Mom took us, Giles would come, hence badness. I thought it was funny that she didn't mind Xander, but there was something about Giles that she did not like.

After letting us out, Tara let me know that they would be in the park which would be good since we could talk on the way there after the appointment. I have been thinking lately what life is going to be like when the baby arrives. I mean Willow and I have never dated as just Willow and Buffy. It's always been Buffy and pregant Willow. I know it is just me overthinking, but my brain tends to wander on a occasion.

I helped Willow onto the reclined table when the doctor was ready to see us. I also got to help Wil put her gown on, and she was interested in a little playing. Once I gave her a free pass to Buffyland, she slipped the gown on just as the doctor came in. I felt my cheeks heat up when she winked at both of us before sitting down. Then, she spread this gel on Willow's belly before placing this wand over top of it.

"Okay, let's see if you have a shy baby or not," she said scanning lower as the baby's head came into focus, "It's got a head, two arms and legs and oh, it looks like you are going to have a boy," taking the picture, so that everyone could see he was a boy. I was smiling until I looked into Willow's eyes, and she looked scared, so I squeezed her hand tightly as the doctor left to let Willow get dressed.

"Buffy, what if he..." I stopped her sentence by giving her a kiss.

"Wil, Oz isn't a hereditary werewolf, and even if our sweet, handsome boy does turn out to be a werewolf, I'm sure there are things we can do, but we'll cross that bridge if we have to," I said wrapping her in a tight hug before telling her that I would call Faith to have Tara pick us up.

After leaving the room, I called Faith to get a Scooby meeting set up for when we got home because I wanted to get in front of this before possibly being surprised. I knew Wil would be tired when we got home, so I would let her nap while I filled the guys in before rejoining her. Hopefully, Giles knows someone that can put Willow at ease.

"Ready to go beautiful?" I asked as she gave me a smiley nod as I interlocked our fingers and led us outside. I sat her in my lap as we waited for Tara on the bench outside the doctor's office. I wrapped my arms tightly around her and thought of the perfect way to lighten her mood, "So, what do you want to name Baby Gordo?"

She busted up laughing giving me a kiss, but then I saw the look in her eyes telling me that she was thinking about it which made me happy because I knew she was thinking about something other than the uncomfortable topic. She finally looked back down at me with a serious look, "Buster."

"Buster Gordo, it is," I said chuckling as she spun around straddling my hips kissing me deeply as I finally pushed her back, "Wil, we're out in public, and as much as I like PDAs, this isn't the place to start this, but when we get home and after I explain the situation to the Scoobies, you can make me scream as much as you like, I explained as she kissed me when there was a honk from behind surprising us.

The ride home was quick, and the gang was all there when we came in. I went upstairs with Willow to get her comfortable before coming back down. I sent Dawn and Janice upstairs to keep Wil busy while I explained Willow's worry, and what I wanted to ease them. Giles was hopeful that the Coven might have something, but it might take a little time. I left to let them sort it out while I went upstairs to do my own distracting.
