Chapter 2...

***********************************************************************************

Willow was taking another beating from Kennedy. Her choice of weapon this time was a leather belt.

The witch was trying to hold off begging her wife to stop for as long as possible. Kennedy liked it when she begged, when she apologised for things she hadn't even done and it usually led to a harder, more agressive beating.

This time, Willow had eaten without permission. Big no-no in the Rodriguez household.

When Kennedy finally got bored of the belt, she threw Willow down on their bed and kissed Willow hard on her busted lip. A small tear made it's way over a bruise on Willow's left cheek. This made her cruel partner smile.

"Awww, what's the matter, baby? Am I being too rough for you?" she mocked before leaning down and harshly whispering in her ear, "You should be used to it by now."

The slayer suddenly thrust two fingers straight into Willow, who had to fake her way through enjoying it. She knew the conciquences if she didn't.

After about another hour of harsh words and more beatings, Kennedy had fallen asleep and Willow lay awake next to her, her now brunette locks tangled and stuck to her forhead. She'd stopped dying her hair that beautiful red colour when she moved in with Kennedy. She just didn't make the effort anymore. She hardly ever wore any make-up either, unless she was covering up a scar left by Kennedy.

Willow wanted to sleep. She needed sleep. She was exhausted, physically and emotionally. But she couldn't, the last beating was particularly nasty and left her sore and restless. She looked over at the woman she'd actually once loved. She was such a sweet girl when she came to Sunnydale. Bratty and annoying but sweet with good intentions.

Kennedy stirred and Willow was worried she might be waking up. She turned in bed so she was facing the opposite way and pretended to be asleep. Thankfully, Kennedy stayed asleep.

Willow began to cry. As tears streamed down her face, she quietly whispered:

"Buffy"

Buffy and Dawn stepped out of the airport followed by Xander, Faith and Giles into the pouring rain. Typical Britain.

Dawn squealed as her hair got wet and ran to the nearest cab and Buffy was left carrying her suitcase.

Buffy chuckled and shouted after her, "You're gonna have to get used to this if you're going to Oxford for three to four years."

They all got into the cab and told the driver their destination then called Willow's cell.

************************************************************************************

It was 7:00 a.m and Willow still hadn't fallen asleep.

She heard her cell vibrate loudly on the bed side table. She reached for it only to be grabbed tightly around the wrist.

"I'll get it" Kennedy said, agression evident in her voice. She saw the caller ID said "Buff" and answered.

"Hello?"

************************************************************************************

"Kennedy?" Buffy frowned into the phone.

"Yup?"

"Uh... is Will around?"

************************************************************************************

Kennedy smirked, "No, she's still asleep, it's 7:00 a.m," she paused before adding "we had kind of a busy night last night" and smiled evilly at her wife who looked down to avoid her gaze.

Buffy's jaw was clenched. She couldn't stand the fact that bitch was touching her Willow in ways only she should.

"Yeah, well wake her up, we'll be at yours in about an hour"

"WHAT?!" Everyone in the cab heard Kennedy's voice from the other end of the cell.

It was Buffy's turn to smirk, "Yeah, we're coming visiting, all of us. Me, Dawn, Xander, Giles, even Faith." That recieved an offended "Hey, I miss Red, too!" from Faith.

Buffy smiled to let her know she was joking, then continued talking to Kennedy, "Why? It's not a problem is it?"

************************************************************************************

Kennedy was fuming but she'd managed to keep her voice under control so as not to raise the alarm.

"No, no problem. We'll see you in an hour."

Kennedy hung up, threw the phone across the room, then stood up and pulled her wife of the bed by her wavy brown hair. She started to scream in her face, "DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE COMING? DID YOU ASK THEM TO VISIT?"

"No, baby, I swear..." before Willow could even finish she recieved a backhander across her already bruised face.

"DON'T LIE TO ME, BITCH"

"I'm not, Kenn, I swear" Tears were forming and she was shaking noticably. She bit down on her lip to stop the tears from falling.

"Fuck, what are we going to do?!" Kennedy started to pace the room.

Willow needed to calm her down, reassure her that everything would be OK.

"Don't worry, sweetie, I'll-um-cover it up with make-up"

Kennedy scoffed a laugh before smacking Willow in the face again, this time the impact sent the tiny witch to the floor. "YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THAT'S GOING TO WORK"

"Y-Yeah, and if they notice something, I'll say a demon did it."

Kennedy stopped and thought about.

She knelt down by her witch and smirked, "Best idea you've come up with this year, baby" she kissed the witch on her sore lips before dragging her up and into the bathroom to apply the make-up.
