THE SECRET OF THE RABBI
Giles staggered into Buffy's hospital room, Willow, Xander, Oz, and Joyce all turned to look at Him.
"Quentin Travers and a Council Hit Team is right behind Me." He gasped.
Their target laid on the bed in the room in a drugged state, six months ago Buffy had fought a major demon and while She won She had Her back broken.
Giles had kept Buffy's wounds a secret from the Council for fear of what would happen, the Scoobies tried to keep up the Patrols but it was getting to hard.
Then Willow took off from patroling and from the Scoobies for afew weeks and the few times the Gang saw Her She seemed always covered in dirt.
Suddenly the Vampires and Demons seem to vaish from the Hellmouth and the Gang could spend more time with the recovering Buffy.
Giles took command of the situation as He regained His breath, "Willow form a magic shield on the doorway, Oz Xander Joyce take these." He ordered handing out handguns
Confused Joyce turned to Giles and asked, "What's going on?"
Xander checking His pistol's load answered for Giles.
"Old Quentin Travers is here to kill Buffy so another Slayer can be called to take Her place."
"But why in four months Buffy will be back on Her feet?" Joyce asked.
"But Buffy has not and never will be the Council's tool so in Traver's eyes She's useless and has to die." Giles added.
Magic engry began to hit Willow's shield and She reached down to grasp Her Star of David inside Her hand.
A small flash of light came from Her hand then faded.
"We have to hold Them off for alest ten minutes." Willow stated.
