i really enjoyed your story, 'up to you'. i think you write really well and
i hope you do more of it. i got on this list because someone on a xena
fanfic list was bubbling about buffy/willow stories, and i thought i'd give
them a whirl. your story was in the very first post i received, and what a
delightful introduction it was!
put your skill with words and creative ideas together with a longer,
plot-driven story and you've got a real future as a writer.

i hope this compliment doesn't sound hopelessly patronizing (matronizing?),
but i've been reading a lot of xena and voyager fiction, and as much woman-
and lexbian-oriented fiction as i have been able to find in the 58 years of
my life, and at the very least i've developed a feel for what reads well (and
for what i like, which is more in the line of emotional rather than sexual
interaction).

i've just started watching buffy the tv show, and i really like it. it's the
only teen-oriented show i watch, and i love how buffy is presented as such a
strong woman, and has such comfortable relationships with her friends, but
boys and girls. may i ask, are you a teenager yourself? the one thing that
makes me think you are older is that your grammar is so good!
