Doomed - Tomorrow!!!

**Buffy and Riley are a couple in this episode. They have some kissing scenes in this
in this episode
although they are not officially "together" yet.

**There will be an earthquake, and a blackout.

**The gang returns to Sunnydale High and find a few old memories...and remains.

**Buffy and Riley have a fairly major fight, where they disagree about slaying. Buffy
has no choice
but to do what she does, and Riley does.

**Fed up with his inability to be a real "demon," Spike tries to commit suicide, but
is stopped by
Willow and Xander, then he learns he can still kick demon butt, so he decides on the
latter.

**One of the characters that does return in this episode, is Percy. (Remember the
basketball star that
Willow tutored in high school?) He's not going to hook up with Willow. While trying to
convince
another girl he's not interested in Willow, he mentions several negative things about
her. Willow,
unfortunately hears it all.

**Another familiar face that *somewhat* returns in this episode is Catherine Madison.
The badly
damaged, but still intact cheerleading statue she is confined to is stepped on. She
doesn't actually
return in the human sense.

**Ethan Rayne returns in this episode.

**This episode features a demon with 2 big horns.

**The Hellmouth reopens and the gang returns to what was once Sunnydale High to try
and close it.

A New Man

-Giles "finds himself" when he drinks himself into being a demon

-Ethan Rayne returns in this episode.

-It's Buffy's 19th Birthday, but the festivities take a backseat to Giles' new
"condition".

The "I" in Team

-Episode 13

-Written by David Fury

-Maggie Walsh, the Psych Professor and Intiative leader, is killed in this episode.

Goodbye Iowa

-Episode 14

**This is a HUGE Riley episode in which one of his family members comes to Sunnydale
and sheds
some light on his character.

-Riley goes through a type of withdrawal, when he stops taking certain steroid-type
drugs that help
him to stay strong in order to work for The Intiative.

This Year's Girl & episode 16

Faith (Eliza Dushku) returns in this episode; the first of a two-parter to air during
the February
sweeps.

This 2-part episode deals heavily with the Initiative and what it's main agendas are
that will set up an
important arc for the rest of the season.

One of the gang will be wooed to the dark side and it isn't who anyone would expect.
(More details on
this coming up...)

Seth was scheduled to return in these episodes, but filming on his movie "Knockaround
Guys" ran a
little too long, so now it is unknown if he will return AT ALL.

-This Year's Girl (Episode 15) is written by Doug Petrie; Episode 16 is written and
directed by Joss
Whedon

Random Notes Concerning the Actors or Other Episodes:

Faith will NOT be returning in "Doomed," but she will be returning in episodes 15 &
16.

• All the rumors going around now about Buffy and Xander, and the episodes titled,
"Eye of the
Beholder" or "One for Luck" are not true. (This is from a very reliable source, who
has yet to be
wrong. If my info is wrong...I'll let you know, but those episode titles have changed
episode numbers
about 5 times, and the info all lead me to believe that my source is very much right.)

The Professor of Demonology hits the Scooby Gang with a whammy after successfully
luring one of
them to the dark side.

Emma Caulfield has signed for fifteen episodes as Anya.

Danny Strong (Jonathan) will appear in ten episodes this season in an interesting
storyline.

Xander's military skills make him a good candidate to join the Initiative NEW: That is
if he hasn't
already!

Desperate to find some kind of belonging after Oz, Willow befriends a young witch who
helps her
ascend to the next level of Witchdom. Only Willow is a bit more eager than she would
like her to be.

Oz leaves Sunnydale for a while to find himself but returns with his sister in town.
She isn't the same
person she was when she left town. Even though most reports say that she isn't a
werewolf, expect
another form of occultish type thing to be brewing. Also supposedly she dated Devon at
one point.

You can expect the other members of The Initiative to be slowly revealing themselves
throughout the
new year. Each having a special and unique quality they add to the group. Riley's
power is similar to
that of a Slayers and how he got to be that way is a pretty interesting story.

Jonathon (Danny Strong) will continue to appear as he has matriculated to UC
Sunnydale as well.
(He has signed on for as many as 10 episodes.)

Seth Green will return in guest spots, but the writers are still trying to find a
way to re-enter him
into the storyline.

Expect two and a half more crossovers before the season is ended. Nick Brendon's
Xander will
crossover to Angel (he's sent to spy on Angel) but no one will crossover to Buffy.
(That's what I mean
by half).

Expect a HUGE crossover that will involve "The Scourge" and "The Intiative". This
is still in the
planning stages, so I am guessing it will have something to do with the season enders.
Joss really
wants to do this, so this info has been kept under wraps to stop any leakage (until
now I guess! LOL)

Willow gets asked out by one of Riley's friends but turns them down because she
is still hung up
on Oz.

Spike is secretly crushing on Willow, but refuses to admit it. He will
eventually, so stay tuned!

An accomplished witch (Lela Rochon) breezes into Sunnydale to help sharpen
Willow's hexing
power, but Willow sharpens the axe when she sets her sights on Xander.

The initiative learns of Buffy's existence and she actually starts to work with them.
They will hunt a
Polarga demon with small tusks at the jaw line and bone skewers that come from under
the forearms
when fighting. They are told not to damage it in any way. Maggie Walsh) and Dr.
Angelman send them
on this mission.

Some of the Initiative higher ups (including Maggie and Dr. Angelman) say that if she
continues to
mess with Riley's head that she will have to be 'removed'.

Maggie gets "skewered" by a creature that Dr. Angelman created. Something
much like a cyborg. It uses the skewer from the Polarga demon that Maggie and Dr.
Angelman
wanted.

Giles - I heard he will turn into a demon in a future episode in which Ethan Rayne
will reappear.

Willow - She will be tutored by the witch she met in 'Hush'. They will have a parting
of ways when the
witch goes after Xander.

Riley Finn - He is using some kind of drugs to make him a better fighter and Buffy
will help him
when he goes into withdrawals.

Maggie Walsh will die in a upcoming episode.

The story arc for this season of BtVS is pretty much set, which spans across 6
episodes. In an hour
long series like Buffy, 6 or 8 episodes is the usual number that is allocated to a
story arc. We have
already seen the first one in which Spike escaped from the secret underground
facility. The
two-parter in February sweeps will be 2 and 3. Episode 19 will be 4. The two-part
finale will of
course be 5 and 6.

Buffy will not be going up against Prof Walsh. She is going to die. The Initiative is
about giving
human mortals the powers of monsters like vampires without the weaknesses. Things will
get out of
control and the people experimented on will mutate into monsters themselves. One of
these people
who changes will become the #1 bad person our Buffy must kick the crap out of. No it
will not be
Riley but one of his fellow army guys. (My guess is Forrest or Graham.) Buffy will
take command of
the Initiative agents. Buffy will lead the army guys in battle against another army of
powerful demons
and monsters that resulted from the experiments. In the finale, the school campus will
have to be shut
down and evacuated due to a "bug infestation". Most of the students will be happy
because this will
happen just before their final exams. Unknown to them, Buffy, her friends and the
Initiative
agents will be engaged in an all out war against the monsters who can't
leave the campus grounds (they are tagged).

Sunday and Riley are connected together to the "big picture" going on the campus. Both
were
experimented on-- the experiment is this: to give humans the strength of Demons
without their
weaknesses. Why? To create the ultimate human soldiers to battle vamps, monsters and
demons.
Riley was given vampire strengths thru these experiments.

Sunday might reappear because she cannot be slain.

The bad guy Buffy will go up against at the end of the season is neither the male
professor nor the
female psych professor. It's still up in the air but it seems to be this rogue watcher
group or a
professor of Demonology. The people she will fight could include others who are like
Riley (though
Riley himself might fight alongside with her).

Riley, who is in the Initiative, supposedly (as rumor has it) he is on drugs along
with his friends who
are in the Initiative. The drugs are an experiment, and they are given them by the
head of the initiative.
The drugs give Riley the strength of a vampire without any of the side effects (fangs,
no sunlight, no
reflection, etc.). Or at least that's what they thought. Supposedly Riley's friends
will turn into
vampires because they keep taking the drugs. Buffy will try and help Riley withdrawal
from the drug
before it's too late. Well, so much for a "solid guy," but I think he has a big
heart, and hopefully Buffy
won't have to put a stake through it!
