:\ i thought so too. north carolina. the jesse helms one. technically they are getting by saying that she is only suspended, not fired, and they have not specifically cited her religion as the reason, rather her husband's web site.

what year is this? it enrages me beyond anything i can describe. there are still a lot of really screwed up and invasive laws on the books here, that actually do go against federal mandate. the thing is no one has challenged them with the fed rulings, so they stay on the book. i have lived here my whole life, and now it has sort of become a challenge. LOL. :\
