I guess it was just an April Fool's day joke on you. I had a similar problem; someone downloaded a virus yesterday that automatically popped a gibberish window on my screen. When I tried to click the window off, the computer shut down. I found a way around it and now it's out of the system, but I understand your frustration.

I just looked into your site, and I'm glad to see that, to paraphrase Mark Twain, the reports of your web site's death were greatly exaggerated. So I hope to read those new fics you're posting(one of them being mine, I hope?) ;-) Good luck and don't let them get you down!
