Willow came into the Kitchen the next morning humming to herself.
Buffy smiled at seeing the witch so much more happiier than she had
been the day before.
"Hello Buffy" Willow took a seat at the island. Toast popped up fresh
before her as if trained at her command.
"That's for you" Buffy nodded at the toast "I figured you'd be up soon"
"Thank you" Willow smiled at Buffy's thoughtfulness. She'd make some
lucky guy a happy man. Willow buttered her toast and resumed
humming.
Kida came in minutes behind her rubbing sleep from her eyes "I haven't
sleep that well in years"
"I haven't either" Buffy said happily "I swear I heard singing last
night. I
couldn't make out the words though"
"You heard it too" Willow bounced on the stool "I heard it. I can't get
it
out of my head though. But I did hear a few words"
"You both heard that last night? I'm sorry I'll try to be quieter next
time"
Kida blushed slightly. She hadn't been singing, but Dario had. "What do
you mean you could hear some words?"
"I heard some, but mostly it was this hum. Like a fog horn only higher
and more pleasant" Willow shrugged "Were 'you' singing?"
Kida glanced to where Dario stayed hidden from human eyes. She sat
on the other side of the island next to Willow. Her brows were raised
asking if she should reveal herself.
"No. It was my mate. She's here now would you like to meet her?" Kida
rushed out.
Buffy shrugged though she did look around for the other Mystic. Her
eyes hit the spot she was at several times but Buffy still couldn't see
her.
Willow glanced between where Kida was staring pleading at a blank
spot "Yeah I'd like to meet her. She must be special if she caught you"
"I like her" Dario materialized seemingly out of thin air.
Willow squealed in surprise and Buffy jumped a good foot "How the hell
did you do that?"
Dario smirked "Magick"
"She is special" Kida looked slightly more relaxed "Willow Buffy this
is
my mate. Dario this is Willow and Buffy"
"The infamous Willow. It's good to finally meet you. Kida won't shut up
about you sometimes. I get sooo jealous" Dario held out a hand to
Willow.
The witch shook it reverently "Are you 'the' Dario?" Willow said in a
small voice "The Dario that created the Binding Circle?"
"Yes I am. But you remain unbound. Though not for much longer" Dario
studied the witch "You have great power in you. Your potential
outweighs anything I've seen before" she studied Willow's aura "There's
is also great love in you. Hidden"
"I'm very passionate about everything I do" Willow said so softly Dario
who was sitting next to her who like Buffy had 'really' good hearing,
could barely hear her.
"And everyone" Kida muttered.
Dario couldn't hold back the laugh that came from the last comment.
Buffy joined in to she'd heard what Willow had said. She'd also heard
Kida.
"What?" Willow hadn't heard the remark, and she had a feeling that she
really didn't want to.
"Nothing." Dario held her hand out to Kida "Let me hold you. For a
moment. The demon brings her man soon"
"Anya and Xander are coming?" Willow moved to check out the
window "I only see Dawn. Dawnie!" she rushed to open the front door.
Dawn was engulfed in Willow's hug before she could get in off the
porch "Hi Wills, what's up?"
"Oh you have to meet my friend. Hakida, Hakida this is Dawn" Willow
half dragged , half carried the poor girl into the kitchen.
"Uh hi" Dawn gave a little wave "Um Wills did Tara come back?" Dawn
turned to find Willow's face frowned up. "I'll take that as a no"
"Way to cheer her up" Dario said sarcastically.
"Who are you?" Dawn pointed to the woman "I know you from
somewhere" she walked around the island to get a better look. She
couldn't see past Kida who was seated confortably in Dario's lap.
"I don't believe you do little one" Dario assured her "I can after
all-"
Dario's face began to morph "look like anyone I want" when her face
stopped morphing she had the same face as Dawn. The immitation was
good though the hair was slightly paler.
"Wow. You gotta teach me how to do that" Dawn sat down across from
them "So you're witches?"
"No" Buffy said gaining her ability to speak back "They're mystics"
"Moon or Sun?" Dawn rubbed her hands together.
"Moon" Kida and Dario answered at the same time.
"No" Buffy commanded staring her sister down.
"Oh come on Buffy" Dawn pleaded.
"No" Buffy shook her head "Not while I'm alive"
"Your not meant for that little one" Kida told the girl.
"You read my mind" Dawn said amazed.
"You were channeling" Kida shrugged "You have a dominant psyche. I
couldn't help but hear"
"See Buffy I have a dominant psyche" Dawn nodded firmly at Buffy.
"Do you even know what that means?" Buffy placed a hand on her hip
and leaned the other against the counter.
"No but-"
"It means that she could have telepathic and telekinetic abilities"
Willow
gushed "Oh Dawnie wow. You have a gift. Besides the whole being the
Key thing"
"Does she always babble like that?" Dario whispered into her love's
ear.
"Yes"

"Faster Xander. I know I'm missing something" Anya stomped her foot
as the caught yet another Red Light.
"Hey maybe The Powers That Be, don't want us to know or hear
something" Xander shrugged not knowing how right he was.
"That just makes me want to know it more" Anya grouched from the
passengers seat.
"Oh An we'll get there when we get there" Xander patted her knee
affectionately.
"I wanna be there now" Anya whined.
"There might be Bunnies there. Kida likes bunnies" Xander tried tired
of
her constant nagging.
"That's mean. I didn't do anything to you. First you wouldn't give me
orgasms last night, now your telling me there's Bunnies at Buffy's
house" Anya stuck her tongue out at Xander.
"It was 2 in the morning!"
Xander sighed as the light finally turned green, and he drove the last
leg
to Buffy's house unhendered.

"Xander and Anya just pulled up" Dawn said from her place at the
window.
"That's my cue to go" Dario stood shifting Kida from her lap to the
stool.
"Why do you have to go?" Willow whined. Dario had been teaching her
how to read Summarian Runes.
"To make Anya jealous" Dario smiled and waved "bye Dawnie, Willow.
Bonnie" She blew Kida a kiss.
"My name is Buffy" the Slayer said from the table next to Willow.
"Whatever" Dario disappeared as the fron door swung open.
"Everyone can relax Xander has arrived" Xander came is singing.
"Oh my god a giant spider!" Kida said pointing behind him.
"Ahh!" Xander screamed like a girl and ran into the kitchen "Did it get
me?"
Dawn was the first to laugh, followed quickly by Buffy Willow and Kida.
Anya stood in the doorway with her arms crossed glaring at the
Mystic "That wasn't funny"
"Actually it was" Dawn giggled from the floor. She'd fallen off the
window ledge laughing.
Anya huffed and stared Kida down "Your mean. I don't like you"
"Good" Kida smirked "Don't expect my sympathy"
"Whatever" Anya stomped into the kitchen and took the seat next to
Buffy.
"Kida's mate was here" Willow offered "She's beautiful"
"Really? What's her name?" Anya grabbed the Wiccan in excitement.
"I can't tell you" Willow said appoligetically "It's not my place it's
her's"
"If she wants you to know Anya she'll tell you herself" Buffy
offered "Besides we know that if you know her name you can call on
her anytime you want"
Anya blushed found out "They never answer me anyway"
"She would" Willow sighed "She's such an amazing person. And she
told good stories. Like all her adventures with Aika and Khavi. She
even talked about Bricu"
"What!" A tall lithe red head appeared in the kitchen.
"Bricu" Kida hugged her "How are you?"
"I'm good. You didn't call me did you?" the red head looked around the
kitchen "A slayer, a witch and that reject of a demon. Did I miss
something?"
"No. Sorry we didn't mean to call you. Your name just sorta came up"
Kida shrugged "And she pronounced it right so-"
"Here I am" Bricu smiled "That's fine. I'll see you when it's all over
dear"
she bent and kissed Willow's cheek "What's that reject demon doing
here anyway?"
"Hey she's 'my' reject demon" Xander stood toe to toe with the Mystic.
She was as tall as he was "And you won't insult her like that"
"Brave. For a foolish mortal" Bricu tapped his heart making it glow in
his chest.
Xander felt the energy from the touch flow through him.
"You were once a Madji. Reborn common. A hero. I like you" Bricu
patted his head "Take care" she vanished just as abruptly as she'd
appeared.
"Oh my goddess I called a Mystic" Willow squeaked regaining her
voice "That was so cool"
"Bricu" Anya called. Nothing happened "Dammit"
