A/N: I love you guys! Anon, I think you'll like this!

------------

"Buffy, what are you doing?" Willow came down the stairs, and noticed that there were yellow and red streamers all about the living room. It was hard to miss the trail of the same colored roses that lead from their living room to their bathroom, where she found a hot, soothing bubble bath ready for her when she woke up. Apparently, Buffy had been busy that morning, rightly so, since it was their anniversary from when they first met three years previous. When she had finished bathing, she decided to be a little saucy, and donned her thin, silk robe that hugged her still moist curves. Finding her way into the kitchen, she discovered a steaming plate of pancakes with strawberry syrup, and fresh strawberries in a bowl on the island counter. The blonde had taken the initiative to time everything perfectly, too.

Following the streamers, she found her wife in the backyard, where she sat drinking coffee in the small, wooden gazebo they had placed in the backyard during the summer, and rocking in the oak swing that Xander had built as a birthday present to Willow last month. Stuffed from the generous breakfast (which it became clear she should eat first), she clutched her own warm mug of decaf coffee (which Buffy kept insisting she drink instead), and sat next to her silk-robed clad wife. Apparently, there was a lot of thought put into this morning's change of ritual. It was good that there was no work today, since Willow had closed the office for the occasion.

"I happen to be swinging, and nursing a cup of java." Buffy smiled at the redhead, and accepted the sweet good morning kiss that still held the taste of fresh strawberries.

"What's going on? I mean, I know it's our anniversary but...what's with the special fun?" Willow started lightly moving the swing, ignoring the autumn breeze that snuck under her thin robe.

"Well..." Buffy snuggled into her lover, and continued to enjoy the morning breeze. "I thought it'd be nice for you. I know you've been extra stressed lately, and you deserved it."

"Baby, you know I deal with this stuff all the time. It's just the joy of being in the music business. You didn't have to do all this." Willow pulled Buffy closer to her, and made sure that her hand was drawing lazy circles around her thinly clad waist.

"Yes, I did." Before Willow could protest, she continued. "I'd do anything for you, and this is just the beginning."

"There's more?" Secretly, the redhead was relishing in the fact that there was more, and she knew that her wife knew that, too. Buffy could be so creative at times, and she loved it. She loved her.

"There's a lot more." Buffy leaned over, and kissed her tenderly on the lips. They continued kissing for a few more minutes before snuggling back together in a swinging motion. "Did you get a hold of Dr. Olivia yesterday?"

"Finally, yes. We have an appointment next Tuesday at 2. She's really busy but she said she's excited to see us again, and even has been talking to Giles on the phone. Apparently, their little budding romance is starting again." The gossipy tone in her voice let Buffy know that Willow was happy for her mentor; she was really happy that the two had finally made up over their tiff.

"Well, she's a lovely lady, and he's a refined man. I'm sure things are good for them." Buffy chuckled a little, and loosely started playing with the strings on Willow's robe, having discarded her mug on the ground already.

"She is, and I'm happy. He said that he's coming to visit soon, and he can't wait to see us again...all healthy and alive." Willow's mood was going to depresso girl again, and Buffy needed to reflect that. There would be no depresso girl today.

"Hey, come back to me." She cupped Willow's cheek lovingly, and kissed her gently a few times. "There's lots to do today."

"Like what?" Willow liked the sexy voice coming from her wife. No matter where they were, if Buffy pulled out the sexy voice, she was putty in her hands.

"Well..." Buffy moved to straddle Willow on the swing. Luckily, she had a trained balance, and didn't fall off; the redhead was nervous, and scared that if Buffy fell, something would happen to the baby, so she clutched her body tightly, giving the blonde more safety with her intention. "First, I plan on seducing you..." She placed hot, wet, open-mouthed kisses all along Willow's collarbone, and up her jaw.

"Too late for that..." Willow held her wife securely against her, as she tried to slow the swing down to a halt.

"Then, I plan on taking you everywhere I can possibly find..." There was no question exactly what Buffy meant by the word 'taking' with her husky tones, and wiggling against Willow's thinly clad body with her own.

"Taking...yes, yes, I like the taking..." Willow's breath was already labored, and she was afraid that the neighbors would see them but excited about the danger.

"Then, I plan on showering you with nothing but champagne, strawberries, whipped cream, and kisses all over your body..." Buffy started making a path along the redhead's neck with long, meditative strokes of her tongue.

"Uh-huh..." Coherent thoughts were a thing of the past, as Buffy's hands had managed to untie the robe, and trail a path along her waist. Willow's hands seized her wife's back tightly, and rolled her eyes in the back of her head.

"After that, you'll get the most erotic massage you've ever had in your life, and a steaming bubble bath to follow." Buffy softly played with Willow's breasts tortuously. The redhead was already a large puddle, and she started low, deep moans, as she moved her right hand further up her wife's body, and started running her hands through blonde locks. "What do you think so far?"

"I think you need to shut the hell up, and take me right now." Willow was surprised to find herself saying that but it'd been far two days since they'd made love, and it was far too long for her liking. There were no protests from the blonde.

"Yes, ma'am." Buffy kissed her passionately, moving her hips up, down, and around to push her own center further around Willow's. There were moans, gasps, and the occasional mew from both of them, as Buffy moved one hand to clutch the redhead's neck, twirling auburn locks in her fingers. Her other hand trailed a slow, torturous path to her wife's center, and she proceeded to take her in the open in their backyard.

"Faith, you need to understand. Love isn't supposed to be simple. That's the beauty of it. You can't really explain it; you need to just experience it." Willow was more than confused why her friend had come to her during her lunch break to talk about love. She wasn't even aware that the brunettes' relationship was that serious but Faith was sitting beside her on the couch, contemplating whether it was or not.

"Yeah but Wills...how can you tell if it's the right one, ya know? I mean, how did you know B was it?" Faith was panicky. Kennedy had told her that she loved her last night, after they had finished one of their nights of long passion. The musician just lay there, and didn't say anything in return, opting to feign sleep instead. Nobody had ever said that to her in her life, and meant it the way the younger brunette had.

"Well..." Willow pinched the bridge of her nose with her thumb and forefinger. Darla's album kept descending, and Dru's case was just getting worse with the media. On top of Buffy's morning sickness, and Christmas and Hanukah shopping, the redhead just was already frazzled when Faith burst through her doors with takeout. "It was the sparks, I guess."

"You guess? You mean you don't know?" Faith was wringing her hands nervously.

"Of course I know, Faith. It's just hard to explain." Willow moved to dispose of her container in the trash, and turned around back to her friend, as she leaned against the front of her desk. "It's just this strong feeling, like...electricity. When you turn on a switch in a room, you either have light or you don't, depending on which way you turn the switch. Before I met Buffy, my switch was turned to off; then, when our hands touched for the first time at that gallery, my entire place was turned on."

"So, you're sayin' that B got you hot?" Faith was trying to understand it. She really was; it was just new to her. This was the first time she had actually tried a real relationship, and things were great. They'd been together awhile, and she couldn't be happier. Now this.

"It's more than that." Willow let out a deep breath, and moved back to sit next to Faith on the black leather sofa.

"What is it then, Will because I'm trippin' here." Her hands just kept moving faster and faster together.

"Faith..." The redhead placed a comforting touch against the brunette, and took the quick-paced hands into her own. "Like I said, you just have to experience love, and from my understanding, you've already experienced love before..."

"Yeah but that was different. That felt...still feels..." Faith vulnerably looked into Willow's green eyes, hating that the redhead still had this hold over her after so long. "It's different."

"It always is different. Kennedy is completely poles apart from me, and you've had different experiences with her." Willow sighed lightly again, and entwined both of her hands with both of Faith's. "Tell me...when you're with her...what does it feel like? What do you feel?"

"Well..." She scrunched her brows for a moment, trying to ignore the tingle she got from their encased hands. "She's bratty...likes things to go her way, and I'm not bratty but I like things my way, too. We clash in certain areas because of it but when we get into our little tiffs over things, the makin' up is good to go." Faith's eyes lit up slightly from a few memories of those tiffs. "She's...I like hangin' with her. We have similar tastes, and she's not afraid to try things new." Again, she stopped, and her brow furrows, as she recalled memories. "In bed, we click...like...I feel like we're connected somehow...like...I always know what she wants or needs, and vice versa. It's always intense, and sometimes it's like that just when we're talkin', or doin' stuff just around our apartments, or around town. I don't know...I really like her but it..."

"It scares you because it's new." Willow understood the problem. Faith wasn't used to getting affection like that from anybody; the brunette stayed with what she knew, and what she knew was heartache. "I do love you, Faith." She looked into her eyes, letting her know exactly how. "I don't want you to ever think that you're not loved because you are. We all love you, whether you want it or not. Xander, Anya...Jesse adores you. She's always asking for her aunt Faith." Willow smiled, causing Faith to smile warmly in return.

"The kid's a spitfire." Faith wasn't sure when it happened but she became part of the family, and until now, she didn't understand the full brunt of it.

"Yeah, she really is, and you're going to be there to watch her drive her parents crazy because we all love you. You're family." Willow places their still entwined hands between them on the couch.

"I know. I...I came from bad people, and my life has just been a big mess until you, and I guess..." Faith sighs. She hates being vulnerable but Willow's her best friend. It's hard not to be. "I...I just didn't think that you'd want to be around people like me, with the things I've grown up around."

"See? That's where you're a dummy." Willow squeezes their hands before Faith gets too defensive. "I think about...what you grew up with, and then...I look at what you are...it makes me proud. It makes me love you more."

"Will..." Faith shakes her head, trying to get her head around the entire exchange, willing the threatening tears to stay at bay.

"I know...I'm sorry." Willow hated breaking the girl's heart. "You are loved, though, and you can't get around that. Kennedy knows how lucky she is...to be with you, and I honestly believe that she loves you, more than she loved me actually, and that's saying something."

"I just..." Faith blinked her eyes, refusing to cry. She'd cried too much this morning after Kennedy had left, and drove herself into a panicked state, which caused the sudden lunch intrusion. "Sparks?" It was the return of the evil smirk. Willow knew what that meant, and she wasn't the least bit surprised. She'd seen it at Halloween, and Thanksgiving even more so. The way the two lovers were around each other, and the loving manner in which they were together...Willow knew...Faith just had to realize it, since Kennedy already had. "I do."

"You do?" Willow's face lit up, knowing that Faith's mind was struggling with the outcome of the conversation. It was on the tip of her tongue. She just had to say it.

"I do...I love Ken." Faith released their hands, and it was not just a simple release. The
love she had for Willow was still there but it had been released from her heavy heart. "I'm in love with Ken! For real!" She jumped up from the couch, and paced the room.

"It's okay to love her, Faith." Willow recognized the release, and she partially relieved that she no longer had to break the girl's heart. "It's even better because you already know she loves you back."

"I gotta go!" Faith ran over to Willow, and grabbed both of her upper arms. "I gotta talk to Ken! She probably thinks I hate her."

"She doesn't think that. Trust me...if anything, she's just waiting. I can tell that she gets you, more than I ever could have, and you get her, too. That's something rare, Faith." Willow was glad when the much stronger girl released her sturdy hold on her arms. The brunette resumed her pacing, as the redhead rubbed her now sore limbs. "The only thing you have to do now...is figure out what to do."

"I tell her!" Faith was practically coming out of her skin, as she bounced from foot to foot. "I have to go!" She ran for the door, and was out before she tumbled back in, kissing Willow firmly on the mouth without warning, and squealing before she left out the door again. The redhead just sat there dumbfounded by the kiss. It was closure for her friend, and she would have a good laugh with Buffy about that later tonight when they went shopping for presents. Moving back to her desk, she shook her head from the strange conversation, and started to return to her work. A few minutes later, she looked up from her desk with a thoughtful look plastered on her face.

"Did Faith just squeal?"

-------------

"You don't love me anymore." Buffy wasn't laughing about the news. When Willow told her that Faith kissed her, the blonde panicked, and started to cry. From what the redhead understood, her wife wasn't supposed to get mood swings like this in her first month of pregnancy.

"Of course I do, baby. I love you with everything that I am." She followed Buffy out of the department store, and into the mall's main area, where the blonde through her bags down, and buried her head in her arms to hide her sobs.

"No you don't! You kissed Faith!" She knew this was unreasonable but she couldn't help the way she felt. She'd been bloated all day, and morning sickness apparently wasn't just for mornings. Trying to work seemed impossible because she kept getting horny for some reason; she tried crossing her legs to hold the feeling until Willow came home but it just wasn't working, so she took matters into her own hands. After thirty minutes, she had to get up for another bout of 'apparently not just morning sickness.' This pregnancy gig was harder than expected, and she was only in her first month. It only got worse from here. She definitely needed to make a run to Anya's tomorrow for research materials.

"Baby, I didn't kiss Faith." Willow was trying to hold back laughter but a small chuckle escaped past her lips, as she sat down next to her wife, and stroked her back soothingly. "She kissed me but it didn't mean anything. It was just a kiss between friends. She needed it to move on."

"What? Like Fred needed it?" There was ice in her tone, and she was starting to embarrass herself. "I'm sorry, baby. I didn't mean that."

"It's okay, Buffy. I know." Willow just took her crying wife into her arms, continuing to rub her back in a comforting manner. Yes, research materials they would need. "Why don't we get some ice cream?"

"Okay but no rocky road. I'm not sure I can handle that after last week's incident." It was her first bout of morning sickness, and it wasn't pretty. "How about we grab some dinner instead? I'm starving."

"Buffy, we just ate." Willow's eyes widened. Surely pregnancy wasn't this bad, not this early.

"I know but I could go for some deep fried pickles right about now. They're kosher, so you can eat them, too." Buffy picked her bags up, as though nothing had just happened, and started towards the food court.

"You know what the doctor said; you can't eat too much because it's not healthy for the baby. How about a low-fat strawberry yogurt instead? I'll even get you two scoops to compensate." Willow smiled lovingly, even though she was wringing her internal hands, hoping to avoid another outburst. Buffy's eyes widened at the prospect, and nodded enthusiastically. They moved their way towards Baskin Robbins, and Willow ordered their desserts, while the blonde sat back down, and rubbed her belly.

"You love me, oh yeah." Buffy's little fit was long over, and she dug into the yogurt with gusto when Willow returned. The doctor wasn't kidding that it'd definitely be different. She just had to remember: listen to your body. Her body was telling her no deep fried pickles, even though her taste buds were screaming for them.

"You betcha." Willow beamed. Now that the fit was over, they could continue their shopping. There was only five more shopping days left until the first day of Hanukah, and they had already overshopped for themselves. They still had to get Willow's mother something for Hanukah, and so far they'd come up nil. "I was thinking about a new menorah. Kennedy's been getting into sculpture, and it'd be more artistic decoration but it would still be nice. Mom still uses the same one that we had when I was young."

"It's nice to keep with traditions, though." Buffy continued licking the yogurt from her spoon, and giving her yummy face after each bite, which was driving Willow mad with lust.

"Yeah, I guess so but I thought Ken could sculpt something really neat." Willow pursed her lips, and studied the way the little pink spoon was devoured into Buffy's mouth.

"Sounds good, if you think it'll work." Another few bites, and it'd all be gone. She hadn't even registered that she'd been unconsciously eating in a seductive manner. There were even several onlookers throughout the food court that had noticed. Willow hadn't even noticed the onlookers because she was wrapped up in the scene herself.

"It should...not that she'd notice anyways." Willow ignored her own words. Lick, suck, pop...mmm...those were the only sounds she was concerned about at the moment.

"I'm sure that's not the case, baby. She was wearing the necklace at dinner the other night that we bought her last year." She finished off her yogurt, and placed the spoon in the small, empty carton. She thought briefly about licking the thing clean but thought better of it, since they were in public. Looking around, she noticed all the stares, especially the extremely lusty one coming from her wife. Shopping was shot to hell in that one moment; she hadn't quelled her lust earlier, and now seemed like the best time, as she pulled her wife hurriedly towards the exit of the mall, only having to go back once to grab their bags before they were on their way home to do something about it.
