Chapter one
~Twenty years later~
The Bronze was kicking. The dancing was out of control and a general good time was had by all. Even after Twenty years it was the place to be. It was were the older crowd all hung out now. It never got old for the Sunnydale class of '99' or even their predecessors.The new generation of students thought otherwise. They refused to hang out at The Bronze now.No self-respecting rebellious Teenager wanted to "hang" where their parents did. This opened up Sunnydale for a new club. The Roller opened up and all the teens flocked to it , just like their parents did The Bronze.
The Roller, Willow would never understand what all the fuss was about. She had decided she wanted to see what all the hype was about so she went down just to give it a look- see. The number of kids swarming about was alarming. Kids as far as the eye could see, and that was just outside the building. She stopped one runty looking kid about 15 and asked him what was so great inside, the kid answered "Are you kidding? Its great in there. Video games, Live Beat boxing , and Food, Oh man there's lots of food. ." Willow nodded and headed towards the entrance.The cover charge was five bucks, and no worth it in her opinion. She spent an hour dodging kids on Roller skates, boards, anything else that could have possibly had wheels attached to it. What the attraction was she'd never understand.
Tonight's get together at The Bronze was something she had been waiting for. The whole Scooby gang couldn't wait to see Dawn's band. About ten years ago Dawn had met up with these cool girls, and a guy. The guy was a drummer named Ricky and Dawnie had fallen for him rather hard. Buffy and Willow stood in the front row, they couldn't wait to see their little Dawnie. It had been three years since the last time. She was always touring. Her and the Band had hit the big time and moved to L.A. .Buffy hardly got to see her baby sister anymore.
All of a sudden the Electric Guitar hit, and the lights flashed. "Ladies and Gentalmen, The Slurs!" Willow smiled when she saw Dawn take the stage. She picked up her Guitar and riffed out the first few cords of their latest hit ,as the rest of the band jumped out on stage. There was Linsey, heartbreaker. She had reminded Willow of Devon from the Dingo's. Sassy, all the guys simply adored her. Karina, she played the bass and reminded Willow a lot of Faith, the old Faith. She kind of scared her a bit but , she was also Ricky's sister. Then there was of course Ricky. Simple blue eyed, Blonde hair and the most beautiful complexion. Willow thought he looked out of place in the Grunge Band.His looks were more Boy-Band suited, If you asked her.
Dawn's letters had described her band mates perfectly, to a T in fact . As the band played on Willow and Buffy couldn't help but wonder what had possessed Dawn in her age to dye her hair Black. The band had gone through the entire Cd, thanked the audience and even did a encore of Blood Rain before heading backstage to change. "She's was great." A smile crept over the Slayers lips as she turned and spotted Angel.
"Angel!" Willow and Buffy wrapped they're arms around the vampire and hugged him tight. "What the hell are you doing here?" they asked in unison. "Well if you promise to release the death grip,I'll tell you." He smiled kissing both of the girls on the foreheads. "Dawn asked me to stop by." Angel smiled motioning the girls to the balcony where the Angel's crew were lounging about. There they sat, Cordelia, Gunn, Wes, Lorne, and Fred (don't ask complicated).When Buffy and Willow reached the balcony they saw Cordy talking to Fred, They were both laughing hard. Even in her forties she still managed to look twenty and Buffy couldn't help but hate her for it. "Let me guess, plastic surgery?" Cordy turned around to see a grinning Buffy, Cordy couldn't help but laugh. "I though you were the press, Don't ever to that to me again." She hugged Buffy and Willow tight. "So what was with Dawn's hair?" she questioned . "That's what we were wondering, it was some kind of weird eighties punk." As Buffy tried to shake the thought from her mind she noticed that there was still no Dawn. The show was over, but where the hell was dawn. "Where is that sister of mine?"
"Hold on, press?" Willow cocked an eyebrow. "Yeah, Long story."
"What's so long about it? You got caught in a back seat of a car with someone half your age. Miss movie star." Lorne gave a smile as Cordy glared at him to zip it. "Anyways, where's Xander?" Cordy looked around trying not to look disappointed. "He had to work late, but he said he'd drop by. Sweaty Xan-man or not." Willow smiled ,Grabbing a hold of a drink on the table. "Thanks." Gunn nodded with a smile, Buffy took the nice liquor out of her hand and handed it back to him. "Hey."
"Oh No, last time you had that you ended up on the stage. I think everyone now know your natural hair color." Buffy shook her head at the thought. "It took me and Tara both to get her off the stage and into my car ,then into bed... and Cordy get that look out of your eye." Cordeila was about to fall over with laughter. "What?" Willow had leaned over and whispered something in Buffy's ear that made her shutter. "Such a tease, and you are so going to get it for that."
"Mmm, hope so." Willow pulled Buffy close and pressed their lips together, quickly a tougne was added and followed with groping in various places. After a full minute they pulled apart both needing air. Willow couldn't help but grin "Yummy."
"Well at least your sex life hasn't sizzled out any." Angel laughed at Cordy's comment. "Nope still going strong." Buffy smiled cuddling with Willow on a couch.

They waited a full hour for Dawn but so far she was a no show. Buffy had gone to find out why. She walked downstairs and headed to the back room where two of the girls sat outside and smiled when they saw Buffy come towards them. "Alright I know this is probably the most cliche question, but is she in there?"
"Yeah, her and my brother have been in there for over an hour. Your Buffy right?" Buffy nodded and extended her hand, Karina took it and smiled. "She's talked a lot about you, told us lots of things. Weirded me out a little, but in Sunnydale. I wasn't really that surprised." Buffy smiled and moved to the door. "I wouldn't."
"Oh, I would." Buffy grinned knocking on the door. "Oh, Dawnie, get your butt out here now or I'll tell your band mates all the embarrassing stories of your childhood!" . There was some rustling ,cursing and knocking things over. "Get dressed and meet me and your band mates in the balcony. You've got fifteen minutes to get cleaned up and moving." Karina and Linsey couldn't help but laugh, this was something to remember. Linsey laughed as they walked through the thinning crowd, stopping once and a while to sign autographs. Finally they had made it to the top. "Jesus, thought we never make it out alive!"
"Hey Girls."
"Hey Angel, digging the sound?" Angel nodded and took his seat.
"Wills this is Linsey and Karina, I'm surprised we haven't met them before now."
"We're new, not the original band. My brother is the only original member. Do you remember the annoying teenager they kept telling to shut up at there wedding?" Buffy nodded and laughed as she remember the grooms father dragging a teenage girl out on her ass. "Yeah, that was me, I've done some maturing. Right babe?" Linsey rolled her eyes, and lightly pushed Karina away.
"Oh,yeah." Karina pouted and walked away.
"I was kidding, she so sensitive." Minutes later a embarrassed Dawn and her Husband walked into the balcony, with a surprise.
"Holy Monkey." Willow's eyes went wide, as she held a little Two year old in her arms.
"Hey Will , Buff this is Xavier."
"Me two!" The little one jumped out of his mothers arm's and ran over to the redheaded Wicca. "I'm Xavier, what your name?" Willow smiled and held out her arms as he jumped into them.
"I'm Willow, you know like the tree." The Little boy smiled and giggled.
"Tree, you no tree. You person." Willow tickled the little boys tummy and he laughed. "mama, she tickle!"
"Is that so my little Demon?" He nodded and laughed.
"Little demon, didn't you get enough of those growing up?" Buffy took her sister into a big hug. "And telling your whole band now?"
"Buffy they're cool with it, Ricky and Karina are part Demon." All of a sudden Buffy blushed a crimson red, that matched Willow's Hair.
"I am so sorry you guys, didn't mean to offend." Ricky just laughed and shrugged it off, as did Karina.
"All good, No worries we're part Chernio. No powers, no demon skin, just great hearing, and from what I heard great stamina, huh bro?" Karina flashed an evil smiled, as Dawn tossed a glass at her, Karina caught it in her mouth. "Thanks I needed the Practice."
"This just keeps getting stranger and stranger." Cordy watched Karina and it reminded her of a dog playing frisbee.
"Hey Will, how is Tara?" Fred asked her finally getting a hug.
"She's doing the same,Oh she's dating my Ex now. You all remember Kennedy right?" They all nodded, Willow just shrugged. "Well not only do I see Tara everyday, I get to see Kennedy too. It's a constant reminder of my happy days, and not so much." Willow turned to Buffy and kissed her. "But here is to new happy days."
"Goodbye gray skys, hello blue..." Buffy smiled remembering the Happy days theme song.
"Come on Will, I couldn't have been that bad." They all turned to see Kennedy and Tara standing behind them both wearing smiles.
"Hiya." Willow looked a little more nervous, she never expected to see them here.
"Tara!" Dawn collided with the older women, Tara laughed hugging her.
"Hey Dawnie, and who is this?"
"Me Xavier,I'm two!" he held up three fingers, which Tara quickly corrected. "ahh ok."
"Well Xavier my name is Tara." Xavier held his little hands up and Tara quickly took him into her arms.
"He just goes to anyone?"
"Yep, he's a little too trusting .One day he's just going to get picked up by a Demon. A bad Demon anyways, maybe get eaten."
"You worry too much, But I did have to kick this Demon's ass last week for scaring my little man." Ricky showed the first sign of anger,to which Dawn quickly began to settled him down. "Sorry."
"What?"
"If he gets too angry he kind of breath's fire, another downside." Karina laughed, she couldn't help it. "Third Grade he set his desk on fire, lets just say Mom and Dad considered Home schooling after that one.
For the rest of the night, the group regaled stories about the past. As it got later and later some of the gang got really tired. "Alright people, it's getting late. Where is everyone staying?" Dawn asked, she was tired needed some rest,after all it was three o'clock in the morning.
"Dawn can stay at our house with the band, we have a big house." Tara offered. "It's up to them,I guess . Angel's gang can stay with us if you want." Willow corrected, and smiled
"No thanks, we have a hotel bought and paid for. No inconvenience like drawing the curtains and such."
So as the night came to a close, Angel and the others headed for the hotel and Dawn and her Family were to stay at Buffy and Willow's house. "We'll meet you, we're gonna take the van." Willow and Buffy nodded and handed Dawn a key.
"We need to talk." Willow turned to see Kennedy standing with a solemn look upon her face. "what's up?"
"I miss you."
"Ken, we've been over this babe. I'm with Buffy now, and your with Tara. But I will remind you one thing, you hurt Tara like you did me. I will make you pay, do you understand?" Kennedy nodded, and turned to go. But was stopped by Tara's hand.
"Don't you dare threaten her Willow."
"Fine then, go ahead and let her hurt you . What the hell do I care, I only loved you. Who would have thought!" Willow turned on her heals and walked away.
"I'm sorry you guys, you know Willow all too well."
"Yeah whatever, I was just trying to tell her something. She didn't have to get all defensive on us."
"Then you don't know Willow all that well then , Do you?" Buffy smiled hugging Kennedy and Tara goodnight.
