Chapter 3
"Giles," came Kennedy's voice from upstairs. Faith nodded to the stairs indicating he should go. He went upstairs while Faith proceeded to talk to Xander.
"So what you think bout the new chick?" Faith asked.
"What is it?" Giles said sounding tired. Kennedy looked at him for a moment before opening the door for Giles to see the newly revealed blonde. He turned away sharply at the girl in the tub and started rubbing his glasses.
"Sooo..." Kennedy says, "Am I right?"
"About what?" he asks not understanding her question.
"Is it Buffy do I have to be that obvious," Kennedy says exasperated.
"Well the fact that she is um... naked obviously plays a fact in the me seeing her part," Giles says trying not to look at the naked girl.
"Just look at her you tweed wearing idiot!" Kennedy says getting mad that he won't look at the girl.
"Fine," Giles says throwing his arms up. He moves over to the tub still trying to not to look to low on the girl. When he finally gets level to the girls face his eyes widen in shock. Its Buffy.
'Oh my god how, why did she come back here she made it clear to me she didn't want to come back.
~ "Giles will you just shut-up!" Buffy yelled at him swaying slightly.
"Buffy all I am saying is that you need to stay here don't leave Willow not know. You know what she's going through sort of, you should know the thought of hurting you or Xander is killing her from the inside," Giles had said trying to get through to the drunk girl.
"Giles I mean it just shut-up and get out of my way," she said trying to push him out of the way.
"Buffy," but that was all Giles had time to say before she punched him on the nose and walked over him out the door. ~
"So I'm guessing its her by the look on your face," Kennedy said smiling at the look at his face.
"Oh god Willow," Giles said realizing why she hadn't talked at all when they got home, "Kennedy dress her up in something and bring her downstairs where we can try to wake her up."
Faith, Xander, Giles, and some of the SIT's were sitting in the living room waiting for Buffy to wake up. Faith raised her head up when she heard soft feet on the stairs. The feet stopped at the bottom of the stairs and didn't start up again. Buffy slowly began to wake up but when she lifted one eye and saw Giles and the others she pretended to sleep again.
"Buffy we are not stupid we know your awake," Willow's voice came angrily from the bottom of the stairs. Buffy's eyes jumped open the minute she heard Willow's voice. She winced at the anger in her old friends voice.

Willow hated to be mean to Buffy but thinking back to the events that had made her this angry towards Buffy only added confusion to the anger.
~ Willow had stormed through the front door to the house. She saw Buffy lying on the stairs face down, and a bottle of pills open at the bottom of the stairs. She ran up to the stairs and picked it up and saw that they were antidepressants. Anger coursed through her thinking that her best friend had had to take these just because Willow had pulled her out of heaven. She remembered Buffy and ran up to her shaking her gently. Buffy didn't respond so Willow started to get worried. She started to pull Buffy up when Buffy reached up to her and kissed her. Willow had no clue how to react. Buffy pulled away realizing what she had done again.
"Buffy," Willow starts.
"My Willow so cute and beautiful," Buffy says stroking Willow's cheek. When Willow sniffed the air she caught the scent of beer and pushed Buffy back.
"Buffy have you been drinking!" Willow screams.
"Define drinking," Buffy says pulling a beer out of her jacket and popping the top off. Willow rips the beer away before Buffy can drink.
"Hey I was going to drink that," Buffy says lunging at Willow only to fall to the floor.
"Buffy how long has this been going on," Willow says feeling the magic begin to grow along with her emotions. Buffy slowly gets back up and grabs onto Willow's arm. Willow shrugs the hand off causing Buffy to fall back again. The blonde began to cry into the floor. Willow ignored the tears and said, "I never want to see you in Sunnydale again." Buffy looked up at her and found the strength to stand up. When she regained her equilibrium she brought her hand up and slapped Willow. Buffy looked more suprised at this then Willow. Willow pulled her hand up and pointed to the door. Buffy put her head down and walked out the door. What neither of them new was both of them cried the rest of the night.~
"Buffy I think we need to talk," spotting the others looking at her she added, "Alone." Buffy nodded and got up. She walked over to Willow. They both thought the same thing, 'I wonder just how bad this is going to be?'
