"Giles we don't really even know what she is," Xander stated still trying to convince Giles to watch Buffy so that they could be sure Willow was safe, "Seriously I mean we just take her word for it because last time I checked we don't know if she is the same Buffy."
"Well Xander I see that this is worth taking a look into but I think it will be a waste of time," Giles said not trusting Xander's judgment entirely.
"I don't care what you think of me I just want to make sure Willow is safe," Xander concluded glad that Giles was taking him seriously.
"Buffy were are going to be late if you don't get down here right now," Willow said playful annoyance in her voice.
"Willow just give me a minute to get dressed," Buffy yelled from upstairs. Willow sighed.
'Didn't Buffy say that fifteen minutes ago?' Willow wasn't able to continue her thoughts when the blond in question started down the stairs decked out in black leathers. Willow noted that the blond looked tired which she hadn't before she went upstairs.
"So Willow I see your ready to go," Buffy said looking her girlfriend over.
"Buffy I have been ready for over thirty minutes," Willow said rolling her eyes.
"Oh sorry," she says apology etched in her voice.
"I can think of one way that you can make up for it," says leaving the sentence hang in the air. Buffy smiles leans over and kisses Willow tangling her hand in the other girl's hair.
"Hey are you guys ready yet. Oh sorry," Xander says making his way back out to the car.
"Well that ruined it," Willow pouted.
The Bronze was in full swing when they made it there. Hormonal driven teens making out in every corner and dancing like there was no tomorrow.
"Wow," Willow could say. Last time they had came here there had been almost no one other than them.
"What you guys want to drink?" Buffy offered.
"Beer," Faith said. Buffy's eyes blinked for a minute before asking what the rest wanted.
"Water for me and Anya," Xander said. Buffy looked to Willow but she shook her head that she was okay.
Buffy went up to the bar wishing that Faith hadn't made her get a beer for her but knew she owed them a lot so she stayed quiet, "Two beers and two waters," Buffy said to the chubby bartender behind the counter.
"Faith," Willow started. But the brunette put her hand up to stop her.
"Look Red I know about her problem back then I just did it to see if she's over it.
Willow nodded at Faith and swiveled around to look at Buffy. She looked normal so Willow thought it was fine and turned her head. Buffy saw the redhead look away and slipped the second beer she bought down her coat sleeve.
"Hey Wills," Buffy said slipping back into the chair by Willow. Buffy took off her coat and Willow noticed her take better care of it then normal.
'Must be a good coat,' Willow thought.
"Lets dance," Buffy said and pulled her onto the dance floor.
The next three hours passed fast for the group, and Buffy, and Willow went out on patrol afterwards. They had a good four vamps down when they were ambushed by another group of vamps. The battle went fast Buffy had staked almost two thirds of them by now. Then the biggest one swung at her head which Buffy blocked with her arm.
"Crash!" Willow heard and thought Buffy had been thrown or thrown something through a wall. She looked at Buffy and saw the blond cradling her arm. Willow opened up the magic she was trying to control and killed all the vamps with one spell. She sped over to Buffy but stopped when she saw the shattered bottle of beer on the ground. When she saw that all Willow saw was red.
"Willow," Buffy said willing herself to look up at the redhead. She was shocked by what she was. Willow walking towards her with a look of pure rage. Buffy knew Willow would be ma but not this mad. Until she noticed the now black eyes of her girlfriend.
"What's the matter baby forgot to tell me something?"
