Part twenty three

Buffy threw open the front door and rushed down the steps, missing the last three and just jumping.

By the time Willow had stopped the car, Buffy was at her door, leaning over the side to kiss her girlfriend.

"Finally!"

They never noticed that Xander slipped out to go and find his own girlfriend.

Willow pulled away and gasped as she got out of the car.

"Care to show me my new bedroom?"

Buffy grinned and took her hand.

"I can't believe we're finally here."

Willow pulled her lover closer to her.

"Me neither, but we are. Its been a long time coming that's for sure."

-----

When they finally reached their bedroom, Willow gasped at the size of the bed.

"Jesus Buff, this bed wouldn't have even fitted into my old bedroom!"

Buffy grinned, she did love that bed. It was a four poster, but without the hanging curtains. The wood was a deep black, and the red silk sheets went well with the frame.

The rest of the room was decorated in light colours, which really made the bed seem that much bigger.

"How about we test it out."

Willow turned, just as Buffy pulled her to her.

Laughing, they tumbled onto the bed, both soon lost in an explosive kiss, neither wanting to stop to breathe.

Clothes were shed as hands groped out flesh.

"Miss you..." Buffy groaned as Willow toyed with a nipple.

"Never again... staying right here..." Willow's answering groan when Buffy circled her clit caused the blonde to shiver.

"Love you..."

As Willow's body slipped on top of Buffy's, they both sighed, finally feeling complete.

Later as they lay in bed, Willow reached over to turn the radio on, letting the music play softly in the background.

"Did I tell you how happy I am that you came back to Sunnydale?"

Buffy smiled and reached up to kiss Willow, letting their tongues mingle before pulling back to rest her head on Willow's chest, sighing as the redhead ran her fingers through her hair.

"I don't ever want to leave here."

Willow smiled, though Buffy couldn't see it.

"Okay, but I think the Professors might question why I turn up to class naked and attached to a blonde everyday."

Buffy snorted and moved so they were face to face.

"Point taken. But I like this. We don't have to worry about... well anything really. We're finally free to be us."

Willow smiled and cupped Buffy's face, pulling her in for a soft kiss.

The blonde sighed into it before pulling back and getting out of bed.

"Dance with me?" Holding her hand out, Buffy tugged Willow out of bed.

"But, we're naked!" Willow gasped as Buffy pulled her close, loving the feeling of the blondes soft skin.

"Yeah, but I've never gotten to dance with you."

Willow smiled and rested her forehead against Buffy's.

"Love you. Even if you are a big sap."

Buffy smiled, and started swaying them to the music.

In the circles I've been running,
I've covered many miles,
And I could search forever for what's right before my eyes,
Just when I thought I'd found it,
It was nothing like I'd planned,
When I got my heart around it, it slipped right through my hands,

Here with you I feel it,
I close my eyes and see it,

In a midnight talk, in a morning kiss,
When I'm in your arms, that's where it is,
When we're tangled up and can't resist,
When we feel that rush, that's where it is,

That's where it is

When I'm crashing through the madness,
Not sure who I'm supposed to be,
When I'm caught up in the darkness,
It's your hand that's leading me,
You bring me back to solid ground,
You lift me up right here, right now

In a midnight talk, in a morning kiss,
When I'm in your arms, that's where it is,
When we're tangled up and can't resist,
When we feel that rush, that's where it is

It's a life time thrill,
When tiding braces,
The biggest things in the smallest places,

In a midnight talk, in a morning kiss,
When I'm in your arms, that's where it is,
When we're tangled up and can't resist,
When we feel that rush, that's where it is

In the sweetest smile, on a night like this,
And a tender touch, that's where it is,
When we're tangled up, and can't resist,
When we feel that rush, that's where it is,

That's where it is

Willow smiled and accepted the kiss Buffy had waiting for her.

"I love you."

Buffy echoed it, and leaned in, kissing her girlfriend again before pulling away.

"What would you have done if I had chosen another college?"

Buffy smiled, and gave Willow a quick kiss.

"I would have followed you."

Willow smiled, and pulled Buffy back to the bed.

"Enough dancing for now."

Buffy grinned and let herself be pulled to the bed.

"I love how you think baby."

-----

Buffy led Willow down to the kitchen, the redhead taking in all the twists and turns they had to take to get there.

"Buffy, this place is massive."

Buffy smiled and opened the fridge.

"Grandpa liked his space. What juice do you want?"

Willow looked around the kitchen and whistled.

"Grape. I can't believe I live here."

Buffy took out two grapes, and opened them before giving one to Willow.

"If its too much, we can get a smaller place."

Willow met Buffy's eyes, and shook her head.

"Its just a lot to take in is all."

Buffy grinned and set down her now empty juice carton.

"Wanna christen the kitchen?"

Willow grinned and downed her juice.

"You know it,"

-----

Buffy lay back panting, the last orgasm still working through her.

"Wow."

Willow giggled and curled up at Buffy's side.

They had both ended up on the floor, though neither cared much.

Willow turned her head and kissed the foot beside it, giggling as Buffy copied her and nipped at her big toe.

"We should get up."

Willow pouted and looked over at Buffy.

"Why?"

Buffy grinned and turned her body around until they were face to face.

"Because, I want to take you out. In public. Were we really need clothes."

Willow grinned, and was up before Buffy could finish talking.

Laughing, Buffy allowed Willow to pull her up.

"I take it you want to go out?"

Willow nodded her head quickly.

"Yup, I want to show off my beautiful girlfriend."

Buffy grinned and pulled Willow to her.

"Funny, that's what I was thinking."

Willow pulled away, a smile on her face.

"So, where are we going?"

Buffy grinned and shook her head.

"It's a surprise."

-----

Willow's jaw dropped when she saw the restaurant. She had never eaten at a place like it.

There was a fountain out front, with what looked like tropical fish it, so Willow figured that the water was heated.

Buffy took her hand and led her through the open doors.

"Why hello Miss Summers. We haven't seen you here in quite a while."

Buffy smiled and paused to say hello to the Doorman.

Willow smiled as Buffy introduced her as her girlfriend.

It felt good, being out in public, not having to hide the fact that they were in love.

Once they were seated, the waiter approached with menu's and a bottle of the best Champagne.

Willow smiled as he poured her a glass, before pouring Buffy's.

Once he was gone, Buffy raised her glass, and Willow mimicked her.

"To us."

They both took a sip from their glasses, and read over the menu's.

"Cordy would be so jealous if she saw us now."

Buffy smiled took another sip from her glass.

"Once everything gets settled, you should invite her down to stay for a while."

Willow smiled, before a frown settled on her face.

Buffy saw and reached across the table, cupping her cheek.

"No frowning, this is a happy night."

Willow gave her a soft smile.

"I'm just wondering what Cordy is going to say."

Buffy smiled and set her menu aside, knowing what she wanted.

"To what? The fact that your in love with an ex teacher, or that said teacher is a woman?"

Willow smiled and set her own menu aside.

"Both."

Buffy smiled, and nodded to the waiter, who came over to take their orders.

"I'm glad your wearing them all tonight."

Willow smiled and fingered her bracelet and felt her necklace resting against her chest.

"They really are beautiful."

Buffy smiled and leaned across for a kiss.

"Not as much as the woman wearing them is."

Willow blushed, but grinned as well. It was the first time they had kissed in public.

"You're basis."

Buffy just grinned.

"Can you believe that this is our first date?"

Buffy smiled and reached for Willow's other hand, now holding them both.

"Regrets?"

Willow shook her head no.

"Only that we had to wait so long to have a first date, but no, if this is the outcome, I would have waited longer."

She was sure she saw a tear in Buffy's eye, but figured it must have been the light.

"And you called me a sap?"
