Chapter 2

Willow frowned as she made her way through the hall. She had seen the blond in three of her classes yesterday, but she had always ran away every time she had saw her.

She even went through the trouble of finding her locker. Okay it wasn't that much trouble because Harmony, and her gang had found a new sport. How long till the New Girl Runs Away.

By the title you can guess what they do, but since some people are slow I will explain.

Pretty much they corner the girl around her locker every free period, and I mean every free period, and insult her until the girl runs away.

Simple right?

Willow had art next hour which was one of the classes that the Buffy was in. At least that's what she had heard her teacher say at roll call.

'Buffy? What kind of name is that?' Willow thought to herself opening the door to the women's bathroom.

When Willow went in the first thing she noticed was the one of the stalls was occupied. The second thing was a muffled sound was coming from underneath the door to that stall.

The sound was not one that she had ever heard before in a bathroom so she walked careful not to make a sound until she was a foot away from the door.

She listened with all her might trying to make out the sound.

But by the time she was there the bell rang. Resonating around the bathroom's walls.

The door burst open. Willow only had a moment to get out of the way, but was able to make out a distinct flash of blond hair as it whipped out through the door.

Willow ran to her class determined not to be late and was able to make it as the bell rung the last time.

She took a different seat today. Opting to sit a row behind Buffy.

The teacher called out everyone's names as her eyes ran down the list.

When she came to Buffy's name the blond made no attempt to draw attention to herself (Which didn't help at all considering everyone turned around to look at her) by just raising a shaky hand into the air.

"Okay class today we will be studying, and drawing famous work's of art," The teacher a middle aged man, with balding white hair said, "You will look in the books in front of the class," he stepped back and indicated with his hand a large pile of books, "And find one artist, and duplicate one of his or her works but with a touch of your own style."

Many of the students ran up to the front and grabbed a book right away. Buffy hung behind and quietly not trying to draw more attention snagged one of the books.

After thirty minutes of working on her own piece of art Willow looked up to see what Buffy was drawing.

Willow's jaw almost dropped to the floor after seeing Buffy's charcoal drawing of 'The Last Supper.'

It was all the same except for a couple additions in the background.

In one of the archways on the top were two babies holding between them a ribbon. It was curled up into a diagonal zigzag.

Below that in the exact middle were another two babies this time with wings. Between them they held a ribbon that curled up into a symbol. The symbol had two half moons facing out and in between was a full moon.

As she looked closer at the two babies in the middle she noticed that one was smiling, and the other was frowning.

Willow didn't notice that she had been looking at Buffy's drawing for long. But when the bell rang signifying class was done she had to shake her head to look away.

Willow, Xander, Cordy, and Faith were all at the Bronze tonight.

Faith was there for vamps, the others just for a good time.

Willow scanned the building for any sight of Buffy. When she found her it was not a very happy sight.

Cordelia had promised Willow she wouldn't pick on Buffy, but she couldn't vouch for the other girls.

The had cornered the blond, and were obviously insulting her. Again.

Right when Willow was about to get up Buffy broke into tears, pushed through the crowd around her and out through the back door of the Bronze.

Willow was in shock never expecting the others to actually force her to tears.

She was so in shock she never noticed a man with a very 70's look about him, smirk, and make his own way out the back door after Buffy.

A/N: Hope you like. Keep the reviews coming they are like gas to my car the more I get, the faster I update. Also the symbols I mentioned are real.
