Chapter 5

***Buffy's demon***

I walk into Willies bar. The place reeks of exotic, and otherworldly smells. I walk up to Willy who is behind the bar serving a demon with a spike coming out of his head. He takes on look at me, and stops serving the demon so he can walk over, "Okay look slayer I don't know anything so just leave me be so I can run the bar."

I smile in annoyance at this human. I feel the need to to kill him pounding through my body, but that will come later, "Shut up Willy. I want you to run the bar this time I come here as a customer."

He looks at me in shock. Obviously news doesn't travel in this town as fast as I had thought, "Why? You have never come here just to have a bite or anything. Why should I serve you now?"

Wow this human is so stupid. Do I have to spell it out? Well I guess I will. I pull the human straight up in the air with one hand my other hand curling into a fist. I switch into my game face hoping to get the point across. His eyes open wide, and fear rolls off him in waves, "Now why don't you play the good bartender, and get me some fuckin beer!"

The vamps, and demons in the bar are all looking at me with shocked expressions on their faces. I growl at them still in game face, and they all look back to whatever drink they had. Willy comes back to me, and pops the top of my beer off backing away, and asking for anything else. I wink at him, and start to walk away taking small gulps of my beer.

I turn back in the doorway taking the lighter out of my back pocket, "Oh, and by the way you might want to clean this place up it's a mess," I flick on the lighter, and toss it behind the counter igniting the whole place in a matter of seconds.

I walk away from the blaze taking in the destruction, "On second thought I will help you clean up," I laugh draining my beer, and throwing the bottle into the fire.

***Willow***

I open the door to my house slowly looking around even though I knew Buffy didn't have an invite in yet. I had just gotten back from a fire that Giles, and we both had reason to believe Buffy had started it. Mostly because Willy coming out of the bar burned, had yelled at them that Buffy did it.

I close the door behind me hanging a cross from the doorknob with a piece of string so my parents didn't think I wasn't Jewish. I walk up the stairs throwing my coat onto the couch.

I walk into my room pulling off my tank top, and jeans slipping into my pajamas. A flash of thunder catches my eye. Just my luck. Now the weather has to react to my room. I sit down on my bed trying to sort out my thoughts. I know that I love Buffy which is about the only thing that I have straightened out yet.

About Buffy, and her demon that is a bit harder. Giles had asked me to think about it. I knew I wanted her soul back, but I really didn't want to use the Orb of Thesula so she could just end up like Angel, a brooding, dark, annoying, boring person.

I groan in annoyance. I jump off the bed, and open up my laptop. I boot it up, and start a search online for spells that can return a soul without the happiness clause. I pull whatever books I have on magic off the shelf, and rummage through them.

I let out a small scream tearing at my hair. The books I had came up with nothing, and neither did the internet. I decide to go out to the Magic Box. I pull on my jacket taking a cross, and stuffing it in my pocket.

I walk down the streets for a few minutes. I feel eyes on my back, but never get a look at the person. I get into the main part of town where at least there is light posts.

Luckily for me the Magic Box was open till 11:00, and it was still 10:32. I walk in calling out for the owner. He comes out with a smile on his face as if he knows why I am here, "So you need a spell right."

I pause, and look at him. He just shrugs his shoulders, "Ya," I say, at least it was a place to start, "I am looking for a spell to give someone back their soul."

He looks at me for a second. I think he is judging me. Is he judging me? "I see. This someone is now a vampire I expect," I nod slightly. He walks up to me, and puts two fingers to my head. When he pulls them away he looks suprised, "You are her soulmate," it was a statement a flat out statement that has me startled. He gives me a smile, "I think we can work with that."
