Chapter 2
Willow lightly slapped Buffy's face, "Buffy? BUFFY!"
Buffy didn't make any move, or reaction to Willow. Willow pulled Buffy up into her arms straining under the weight.
She pulled Buffy out, and started towards the Magic Box. A few people shouted at her, but she ignored them.
Willow walked as fast as she could. Luckily nobody had followed her, "Giles!" Willow yells bursting into the Magic Box, and startling Giles.
"Wha... What Willow?" he asks. He comes out of the back, and sees Buffy. His expression becomes steely, "Put her on the counter," he orders.
Willow complies while Giles goes into the back, and brings out a huge first aid box. He sets it down on a chair, and pulls out a small flashlight.
He moves up to Buffy's head, and pulls an eyelid up shining the light into it. He stumbles back a little almost tripping when he sees her white eyes, "Willow."
Willow shrugs at him, "I had the same reaction," Willow told him shuddering when she saw the white eyes of Buffy.
Giles nodded, and went back to work while Willow sat down in confusion, and worry.
After five minutes Willow finally grew tired of not helping at all, and asked Giles what she could do.
He raised an eyebrow at her, but told her to start bringing out some books to maybe find out what happened to her.
Giles finished with Buffy a couple minutes later, and sat down in a chair watching Buffy while she 'slept' on the counter, "Okay I guess we get to work," Giles suggests.
Willow nods, but moves to the phone, and calls Anya telling her to bring Xander along with her to the Magic Box.
Willow sat down, and dove into the books looking at them, but not really reading them.
An hour later Xander, and Anya burst into the Magic Box, "WHY. Does the sign say closed Giles. Are you trying to cheat me out of money?" she asks eyeing Giles.
They walk farther into the store. Xander does a quick look around the room, and does a double take when he sees Buffy apparently sleeping on the counter, "Buffy! What happened?" he asks Giles moving over to Buffy.
He gives a small gulp when he sees the blood on her shirt, but other than that she looked pretty good. At least until he looked at her leg. Her right leg was now straight, but obviously broken due to the small bone pushing against her leg making a small bump on her skin," Shouldn't you do something about her leg?" Xander asks.
"We're taking her to the hospital when she wakes up. Also We don't know exactly what happened. But Willow was the one that found her," Giles states looking at Willow now, "Would you care to tell us how you found her?"
Willow nods, and starts to tell her story, "Okay so you know I am coming down to the Magic Box to meet you then all of a sudden I heard people yelling, so I decided to go over there, then I found that Buffy had just been hit by a car so I ran over here," Willow said in one breath her thoughts still on Buffy.
"Did you see anything that could explain the eyes?" Giles asks forgetting that Xander, and Anya didn't know about that.
"Eyes? What happened to her eyes?" Anya asked confused. In her usual tactless way she went over to Buffy, and poked at her eyes, "Seem fine," she says then pulls up the eyelids, and sees the whiteness that was Buffy's eyes, "Oh. Ewww!" Anya says pulling away, and sitting down at the table, "I have seen a lot of thing, but that is just creepy."
Xander looks confused at his girlfriend, "Okay what is going on?" he asks he himself going over to Buffy, and pulling her eyelids open, "Oh. Just... Oh."
Willow rubbed her temples getting annoyed that everyone was touching her Buffy.
'My Buffy? Wow. Obsess much.'
"Why are her eyes like that?" Xander asks backing into a chair.
Giles grinned at him, and shoved a book in his hands, "Well we are about to find out. When she wakes up she might be able to help also," Xander groaned at this, but opened the book, and began reading.
