Change of Scenery

what the...?

[reviews]

The last two weeks have been great. I've been reconnecting with Willow, and Dawn seems happier but won't tell me why. I started sparring with some of the newer slayers. The first time I sparred I picked Dana, and she kicked my ass. I ended so sore the next morning that Willow had to give me a massage.

I wake up and see that Dawn is already up when I bolt out of bed. Luckily, I make it to the toilet before tossing my cookies. Good lord do I feel like crap, I have been feeling kind of bad for about a week. I thought it might be the change in the weather from warm, sunny Cali to cold, damp England, but I'm not sure.

"Buffy," I hear Willow say from my bedroom.

"In here," I announced as I rested my head on the side of the bowl.

Willow checks my head, but she says it doesn't feel warm. She helps me back into bed telling me she'll be back up with some soup. I hear her talking to someone outside the bedroom before Dawn comes in.

"I'm supposed to keep you in bed until Willow gets back. You guys seem to be getting back to normal," Dawn said joining me on the bed. She laid my head on her shoulder like Mom used to do when we were younger.

After finishing my soup, Willow stayed with me until I fell asleep. I felt her kiss my forehead before getting off the bed.

-Dawn's POV- I hear Willow shut Buffy's door, and I see her say something to a couple of the slayers. I see if she knows anything when she comes downstairs.

"So how is she?" I asked as Willow joined me on the couch.

"She is sleeping now, but why she's feeling the way she is, I don't know. I'm thinking I should call Ms. Harkness to see if she can come over and see if she can figure out what is wrong," Willow explained giving me a hug before heading for the kitchen.

I decided to take a walk around the grounds to clear my head. There is something I need to tell Buffy, but I don't want to while she isn't feeling well. I don't know how she is going to react to my news. I mean Willow was one thing, but I'm her sister. Hopefully, she will accept that I'm gay. During the last year in Sunnydale when all the girls kept showing up, I found myself starting to have feelings for some of them. The feelings really hit me when Faith showed up. She just exuded sexuality and wasn't afraid to tell about it. By the time I made it back to the house, I noticed that Willow was talking to an older woman. I walked up to them to see if they found anything out.

"Do you know what's wrong with Buffy?" I asked nervously not hoping the worst.

"Ms. Harkness, Dawn Summers, sweetie, Buffy is going to be okay, but she's pregnant," Willow explained as everything went black.
